PRE-REQUISITES:

VII. Program Outcomes
The minimum standards for the BSEd program are expressed in the following set of learning outcomes:

A. Common to all programs in all types of schools


The graduates have the ability to:

1 articulate and discuss the latest developments in the specific field of practice
2 effectively communicate in English and Filipino, both orally and in writing
3 work effectively and collaboratively with a substantial degree of independence in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

5 preserve and promote “Filipino historical and cultural heritage.”

VIII. Program Outcomes Addressed by the Course

IX. Course Outcomes:


At the end of this course, the students should be able to:

1 give the prospective professional teacher a comprehensive view of


his/her multifarious task to enable him/her make an informed
decision on whether or not he/she pursues teaching as a profession
or not
2 allow the student teachers to be able to play his/her roles as society
expects him/her, by being grounded on a personal unifying
philosophy, by inculcating deep in his/her moral convictions and

strong in his/her ethical principles, and by encouraging him/her to
embark on a lifetime project of values formation
3 place the students as links among the school, the community, and
the world
4 Enlighten the students about the laws on professionalization, rights,
privileges, duties, and responsibilities of teachers.

X. Course Description:
This course deals with the teacher as a person and as a professional within the context of national and global teachers' standards and
educational philosophies. It will include professional ethics, core values, awareness of professional rights, privileges, and
responsibilities as well as the teachers' roles in the society as a transformative agent of change.

1. The Class President will be tasked to record the attendance of the class.

2. Recitation will be reflected based on the frequency and quality of your recitation.

3. Your attitude will be graded as well.

4. The class follows EOP.

5. The class will listen to the discussion while taking down notes their concerns and questions.

6. Quizzes, rules, and other activities will be done/added as deemed necessary.

7. Spoonfeeding is not practiced dominantly so ensure that you ask questions when confusion arises.

B. Flexible Learning Modality
