Diana, if you don’t mind, let’s start from
the beginning. Tell us briefly about
yourself, your childhood and your
growing up as an adult. I was born in a
small town, in a family of believers Dad
worked as a priest, and Grandma as a
deacon. Until I was 18, I went to church
four times a week on a regular basis.
At the same time I lived in total control
and prohibitions it was impossible to
communicate with unbelievers, it wasn’t
right to celebrate the graduation of the
school, and to become an actress and
enter the theater - far from even thinking.
From an early age, I was taught the love
of church service and God. Already at
my conscious age, I was engaged in
volunteer work, mainly working with
children with Down syndrome or from
low-income families.
In a way, I was glad I had been given
such good qualities as honesty, loyalty,
and kindness. But sometimes there
were situations when I just hated these
qualities, as people often used and
did not appreciate what I radiated to
them. As I got older, I ran away from my
parents, and fell in love with a guy, and
my life took on a whole different color,
sometimes dark, because that guy
broke my heart and I was emotionally
abused, I didn’t understand this world
and these people. Besides, I thought
my upbringing was all my fault. But in
time, I realized there would be someone
who would understand me, because it
wasn’t my fault, it was my advantage.
And I was right. Life took on a brighter
tone when I met Ania, my future wife,
the kind and honest girl I saw myself
in. And then, as I say, there was a
convergence of palettes called “you
are not living your life” in the process of
our living together I realized that I didn’t
want that, I wanted a family and to
see a worthy man with me. What am I
saying? Sometimes it happens that we
fear the condemnation of our family,
acquaintances, and society as a whole.
And if you add to that the naivety and
the harsh reality, the whole will lead to
you trying to be someone. In the end,
everything that happens to you will
hurt you and you will complain about
injustice. Yeah, I’d like to be treated
fairly as I give honesty and loyalty. But
the mistake is that we expect a lot from
others and get the opposite. I have been
searching for a long time for who I am
and what I want out of life. Have I found
it? Not yet to the end. But I did realize
it’s important to always do what you
like. You should choose those people for
whom you don’t need to change, and
you can be yourself and not be afraid
of getting a blowback. And if something
like this happens and is unpleasant, it’s
not you, it’s others, and there’s nothing
you can do about it. The only thing you
can do is to avoid communicating with a
certain person and avoid love or unloved
work if it doesn’t bring you joy, comfort,
and inner peace.
How to feel free - not trying to find out
what others think of us? To understand
and accept that each personality is
individual. Then it’s necessary to define
the values to which we aspire to consider
all our surroundings only from the point
of these beliefs, without paying attention
to criticism or immersing ourselves in it.
To choose your path, build plans, and
surround yourself with people who carry
the same golden truths is to feel free.
Can we say that our ability to see and
accept the true motives and values
of others, regardless of differences,
allows us to create a more cohesive and
tolerant society? Despite the fact that
each human being carries his or her
own culture, we must be open to the
perception of other peoples and their
values, if they aren’t a threat. The world
is so diverse and we have so many
opportunities on the Internet to learn
other people’s customs and traditions.
This gives us the opportunity to be open
and bring our culture to the world.
Do you think the theory that goes like
this: Don’t expect “love at first sight”
is true? Love at first sight in a personal
relationship is like quenching your thirst
with a glass of water. But to drink this
glass of water, it must be filled and it
takes time. True love comes with time.
But the love for work comes when you
work and understand that you are
useful to others, not to mention the
fact that in a good case, it’s necessary
to receive moral and material rewards
from this. What about love for yourself?
The truth is if you don’t love yourself, the
environment won’t love you either. Even
in early childhood, we form complexes
that we carry through life and we must
fight this at once, changing ourselves
and perhaps the environment. It’s
quite a hard work, and not everyone
can handle it. But only those who love
themselves sincerely (don’t confuse
it with narcissism), who accept
themselves and change the bad for the
good, will succeed in all spheres of life.
What inspires you today and makes
Diana Sheveiko who she is? At the
moment I am an entrepreneur in
the beauty salon industry, and I
also additionally conduct the entire
advertising process in the same field.
I combine my main work with writing
scripts for children in kindergartens,
and orphanages, and for all kinds of
events. In my free time, I write poetry,
enjoy drawing, and do volunteer work.
I’m developing in different directions:
sports, vocals, dancing, etc. This most
likely makes me who I am. Such an active
and fulfilling life gives me emotions and a
taste for every day I live.

 How did you get started in the
modeling industry? I started
modeling when I was 14. It
was my big dream to be
among the beautiful women I
saw in the magazines.
Can you tell us about your
first modeling gig? First, I
was with an agency in my
country, who did not give
me suitable jobs. Due to my
physical features, runway
modeling was out of the
question. So I started looking
for photographers who
would be happy to work
with me so that I could start
with a sufficient portfolio. My
favorite to this day, is when
I can see in the end result
what the photographer sees
me as beautiful.
What is the most exciting
project you’ve worked on so far? Every
project is exciting for me. If only because
of the people! I love working with new
people. I travel a lot for modeling. Maybe
I would list Iceland, Zanzibar, and Cannes
here.
What’s your secret to staying in great
shape and maintaining a healthy
lifestyle? oh, I wasn’t always pretty and
has good shape! Until the beginning of
my career, I was 106kg. I exercised a
lot and went on a diet. It took a lot of
willpower! To this day, I still follow this,
only pilates and yoga have replaced
the strenuous exercise and my diet is
vegetarian.
What advice do you have for aspiring
models trying to break into the
industry? Willpower, humility, proper self-
image, and a beautiful smile!
Are there any models or fashion icons
who inspire you? Models, It all started for

me with a TV series. I saw the beautiful
models and I wanted to be like that. In
practice, not a single model inspired
me, but I wholeheartedly acknowledge
everyone’s work. But if I can mention one
thing: Gigi Hadid looks great. I learned
as a fashion designer. Coco Chanel’s
historical role among women inspired me.
I also have a tattoo of her.
How do you stay up-to-date with the
latest fashion trends and industry
developments? Social media is more
up-to-date than I am. lol. Joking aside,
I like to create my own style, even if it
sometimes deviates from the norm!
Do you have a dream project or campaign
you’d love to be a part of one day? I am
an ambitious businesswoman. In addition
to modeling, I also successfully ran my
own business. Maybe the cosmetics
company would be ideal for me. But if I’m
interested in my real dream, I want to be
a mother.
How do you balance your
professional career with
your personal life and
relationships? Many times it
is difficult to know..Many men
do not understand this work,
especially nude modeling.
After all, they complain
that “I am naked and there
must be something in the
background”. It never was.

important to me in clothes. Mom always

wear the garbage bag as if it were a
normal dress.”
How do you handle the pressure of
constantly being in the spotlight? It’s a
little secret. I have panic disorder and
social anxiety. I chose the best job, didn’t
I? When they take photos, the world
stops. It is a great pleasure for me. I can’t
even describe it. But then the mentioned
problem will disappear.
What are your go-to fashion staples or
must-have items in your wardrobe? Black
and white pieces. I like it when the
clothes are tight and smooth on my body
so that my lines are visible. I wear a lot of
warmers - it’s funny - and a lot of dressier

I s this a peak performance SUV?

The outgoing GLC 63 AMG was
brutal; its V8 punched hard, the
noise could wake the dead and
even though it didn’t possess
the cornering fidelity of the C 63
sedan, it still shot out of corners as
though launched by an invisible canon.
The 4.0-liter twin-turbo, shoehorned
into a practical family car was superbly
excessive rage but we didn’t realize it’s
time in the GLC 63 was going to be so
short-lived. In hindsight, the signs were
there; other AMGs like the C 63 had
already downsized and the latest GLC
63 S E Performance had to follow suit.
But as we’ve learned, downsizing in
today’s world seldom equates to less
power, and the GLC’s uprated 691hp
from a 2.0-liter turbo hybrid is as
potent as they come. This engine has
been pumped full of boost and
supplemented with an electric motor
- fitted on the rear axle – for around
200hp.
The combination doesn’t just give it
extra power, but imbues it with
all-wheel drive and a limited slip
differential. All this is coupled to
rear-wheel steering; below 62mph, the
rear wheels turn 2.5 degrees in the
opposite direction to the front wheels
to reduce the car’s turning circle,
boosting agility, and above that speed
they turn in the same direction as the
front wheels by up to 0.7 degrees.
A curb weight of 5,093lbs (331lbs up on
the C63) barely hampers what happens
when the stopwatches are brought out.
It’ll blast to 60mph in 3.5 seconds and
max out at 170mph – performance that
commands a lot of respect. The power
is always available too; a clever battery
system ensures that there’s always
enough energy to cope with repeated
launch control attempts. This level of
uninterrupted readiness is highlighted
by a turbocharger that’s always
spinning, even when you lift off the gas,

which is an area where AMG’s
Formula One involvement is
often credited.
It’s an immensely capable
thing to pilot. You’d think
that a total of eight driving
modes would be too
overwhelming but in Sport

drivetrain adapts effortlessly;

batteries and holding
everything on a taut line. For
instance, you’d never know
that the e-motor has its own
2-speed gearbox or that there
are four stages of

that it mimics the one-pedal

vehicle, like the Mercedes
EQB. On batteries alone, the
GLC 63 S E Performance is
able to complete nine miles
before switching over to the
engine.
Wrapped up in tech that’s not
intrusive but rather
self-managing, the breadth of
its talents can be explored
without needing to change
your driving style all that
much from a fast hatchback.
Engine noise is still loud and
present but leans on some
synthesized tricks to amplify
an engine that has dropped
four cylinders from its
previous orchestra.
It also feels more nimble
through corners which in turn
allows you to carry more
speed through them, and link
up a sequence of apexes with
more finesse, rather than
trying to hammer them into
small sections of straight-line,
before piling on the brakes.
Despite having the electric
motor planted on the rear
axle, it can still transfer
power forward, creating an
all-wheel drive system that’s

happening with EV production
and sales around the world.
General Motors abandoning its
EV production targets for 2023
and other automakers citing similarly
low volume. Dealerships are unable to
get these EVs out the door faster than
they’re arriving and even companies
like Tesla have needed to slash EV
prices considerably just to keep the
assembly line turning. Meanwhile,
petrol-powered cars continue to sell
with relative ease, as do hybrids.
For some brands, like Volvo, a
commitment to an EV future looks
like it might have been slightly
premature in a market that’s deflating
but that doesn’t take away from the
new EX30 which is the contrasting
rainbow lighting up a dark EV cloud.

Bulky, cute, and yet minimalist, the EX30 is
a good compromise between traditional and
new styling. It looks clean and efficient,
with enough high-quality additions to help
justify its pricing which is around $42 000.
The interior is very Swedish. Light, open
spaces, airy and with fabrics that cause less
harm to the environment, or the animals
that inhabit it. Almost every piece of the
interior’s fabric comes from recyclable
waste (the carpet for instance is made out
of plastic bottles) but the incredible result
is how premium and modern it looks and
feels – notwithstanding the warm, fuzzy
feeling it gives you on the inside. And at the
end of its life, whenever that may be, Volvo
claims that 95% of the car is recyclable.
This four-seater, high-riding cabin
borders on being sparse but the
centrally-mounted portrait touchscreen
ensures that the level of technology is not
diluted. If anything the space feels
liberating; the antithesis to a busy
cityscape, a place of simplicity and superb
lightweight, unobtrusive ergonomics.
There’s just very little not to like about it
which is obviously important as people are
already overcoming some level of fear and
resistance as they consider an electric
vehicle for the first time.
Most markets will get the option between
two powertrains; a single motor and a twin
motor. As expected, the drawback of less
power becomes an advantage when it comes
to range, although the lithium-ion 60kW/h
battery is exactly the same in both
derivatives. The single motor features a
268-hp electric motor mounted on the rear
axle and a claimed range of 275 miles. It’s
offered in three trims: Core, Plus, and Ultra
The EX30 Twin Motor adds a motor on the

 front axle for a combined output of 422 horsepower and 265 miles of
range, and it comes in the two higher trims.
A few minutes behind the wheel is enough of a reminder of how
well-suited these vehicles are to city centers. They whizz off the line
with a ferocity that is, at first, slightly unsettling and snatches your
breath, but it doesn’t take long for you to realize how archaic a
combustion engine can be in this setting. A firm amount of
regenerative braking allows you to basically drive the EX30 on one
pedal which is more fun than it sounds and with 0-60mph in just over
5 seconds and a top speed of 112mph, it cuts through traffic like a hot

knife through butter.
Oh you thought those performance figures were for the twin motor
did you? So did we, at first but the twin motor chops that 0-60mph
time down to 3.4 seconds – the same time it takes an Aston Martin
One-77 or a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera but for about 20% of
the starting price. Think about how absolutely bonkers that is! It
achieves this by sending 422 horsepower and 400 pound-feet through
all 4-wheels and barely sacrifices any range in the process.
Volvos, with a more traditional petrol or diesel mill under the
hood, have never been this exciting,
and it’s worth noting that few brands
have redefined their driver enjoyment
under electrification to the extent that
Volvo has. Not that these comparisons
are all too likely; Volvo says around 80
percent of its EV customers have
never driven a Volvo before.
With all the weight sitting low, it
also corners well and being a Volvo
there are myriad systems running in
the background that will ensure any
over-zealous driving is quickly and
quietly dealt with in a safe manner.
The EX30 might just be all the car you
ever need, which is not what you’d say
by looking at it, or even by glancing
through the window. It looks simple
and tranquil that it hardly manages to
grab your attention. But it’s something
of a driver’s car; both sensationally
fast, and effortless and soothing – an
odd paradox with the whole greeny bit
thrown in too for good measure.
While EV sales are tanking, the EX30
should not be overlooked.

How did you get started in the film
industry? I have written all my life and
it is from this passion to create and tell
stories that my production company
Branded Studios was born. In 2013 I
was lucky enough, or crazy enough, I
am not sure which, to make my first
film Journey to Le Mans. I had no
industry knowledge when I started but
the tenacity, drive, and resilience you
need to survive in the cutthroat world
of film. The same traits that mean I am
still in the industry all these years later.
How does modeling fit into this? To
be honest modeling to me is more
of a hobby, I find it lots of fun and it
provides a great platform to talk about
my latest films. I just feel very blessed
and happy that I get the opportunity
to work with publications like FHM and
of course, being in the top 100 list is by
far the highlight of this.
And how does it feel to be named as
one of FHM’s top 100? I used to read
FHM when I was younger and really
admired the beautiful women on your
pages and lists! It really is incredibly
cool to see myself among them. Thank
you so much for the honor!
What is the most exciting project you've
worked on so far? The next one… I like
to keep myself hungry by focusing on
the best being yet to come. Although
to be fair I have found every one of
my films involves a lot of excitement,
fun, and challenges, usually in equal
measure. Of course the first will always
have a special place in my heart -
walking into Leicester Square and
seeing my name on the big screen for
the first time, I suppose just like with
love, you’ll never forget the intensity of
the first time.
What's your secret to staying in great
shape and maintaining a healthy
lifestyle? I think it was Julia Roberts
who said ‘I am 80% good 80% of the
time’ and that sums me up really, I
eat three very healthy meals a day,
and then I can have some occasional
indulgence without worry. I am actually
a farm girl at heart and I have fresh
eggs and veg out in the garden every
day. Exercise-wise I do yoga 6-7 times
a week, I walk a lot, and mountain bike.
I used to be a gymnast and then got
heavily into martial arts so I think that
muscle memory also helps. I still always
think I could do more, but I work crazy
hours, and building a business and
looking after my family takes priority.
What advice do you have for aspiring
filmmakers trying to break into the
industry? Have a damn thick skin
and an enormous work ethic. Outside
of that just do it, don’t talk about it,
just do it. You will make mistakes but
those ultimately will turn out to be
your biggest teachers. Just start, take
your phone, and go tell stories, prove
your skills in doing it, there is no excuse
nowadays with platforms such as
YouTube available to everyone, anyone
can prove what they are capable of,
and I do believe talent and hard work
will rise to the top.
What films inspire you? Good question.
The most recent documentary that
has inspired me was the Robbie
Williams documentary from Ridley
Scott’s company Directed by Joe
Pearlman, it really got under the skin
of the subject and had a ridiculously
rich archive any filmmaker would drool
at! It was also absolutely slated by the
Guardian - like many of my films have
been! Outside of the genre I work in, I
like things that make you think, I loved
The Black List, The Night Watchman,
and any 80’s action movie has a place
in my heart!
Do you have a dream film you'd love
to be a part of one day? I absolutely
love working on automotive films,
having worked with the likes of Ferrari,
Abarth, and racing teams, I would
love to continue down this vein. I love
telling life stories too and I would adore
getting my hands on Johnnie Depp’s!
Eventually, too I want to get into
drama.
How do you balance your professional
career with your personal life and
relationships? Ha, I don’t have a great
deal of balance! I do have a wonderful
family I adore, but I also work a lot on
my business! My circle is very small but
I’d do anything for those who are close
to me.
What is the most valuable lesson
you've learned in your career? To sniff
out bullshit. If I can say that!? In this
industry more than most everyone
wants to take from you. They want
fame, money, or a shortcut and they
would sell their grandmother (and
certainly me) to get it. That may sound
harsh but it is accurate. I have learned
I am never going to tame the sharks
but I have become strong enough to
swim with them.
Can you share some of your favorite
beauty and fashion tips? I am the least
girly girl there is, I suppose my only tip
would be to be authentic. Be yourself,
the sexiest thing you can wear is
confidence, so if you feel good you will
project that.
How do you handle the pressure of
constantly being in the spotlight? I
wouldn’t say I am in the spotlight really,
as a Director and Producer it is my job
to make the best spotlight I can for
everyone else. Maybe that’s why I love
these photoshoots so much! I enjoy the
attention of course, but equally, it is
nice I can pick and choose when and
where I receive it.
What role has social media played in
your filmmaking career, and how do
you engage with your followers? Social
media has made it easier to reach
people in the industry it really has,
networking is easier when people can
see you are working on cool projects. I
try to engage with people who engage
with me publicly (not in DMs!)

If someone is kind enough to comment or encourage me
that’s really lovely and I try to respond - when I am not
filming cars up mountains or the like.
What are your long-term goals and aspirations? I am
quite a dreamer so I have many. I like to have a lot of
goals on the go; business, life, personal, and physical.
Long term I have been offered a book deal and I’d love
to find the time to see that through. Also going from
one-off films and docs to returnable series, brands, and
franchises, taking the step into drama! And of course,
building Branded Studios.
Can you share some upcoming projects or ventures that
your fans can look forward to? I am working with the
biggest car brands in the world right now and while I
would LOVE to say more I really can’t just follow me and
Branded on social media and be the first to find out.
