Dear Ms. Grusnick,

My name is Leah Manaloto, and I am reaching out to you to infer about the Aquatics
Instructor position located in the Township of Langley, which I have heard of through the
website, “LinkedIn”.

I am a 16-year-old grade 12 student at RE Mountain Secondary School that is certified

in all First Aid, National Lifeguard and Water Swim Instructor (WSI). As for my
experience, I have been teaching at West Coast Swim School (WCSS) for a little over a
year and have taught various ages ranging from four to thirty. My employer, April, has
reached out to me multiple times saying that the parents/swimmers were more than
satisfied with my teaching abilities and flexibility.

When I investigated this position, I saw that I would be creating my own lesson plans
and have free will with my classes. I have had a lot of experience at WCSS with creating
my own plans and making each class fun and interactive. I also noticed that I may need
to teach out of the water at times for seniors. I do not have much experience with that;
however, I am always willing to try new things.
