Procedure
• Choose a chapter/weekly lecture topic from the syllabus and on D2L
• Choose 1 building/project recognized as a significant piece of architecture
• Conduct research of your CHOSEN building(s)
• Find appropriate images which match the terms from your chosen chapter/weekly
lecture topic,
• Relate your understanding of topics that we covered in the chapter/weekly lecture topic.

Deliverables

Each student will produce a maximum 2-page report that discusses their research,
observations, and documentation. Go over your notes (sketches and written) and articulate your
findings. For your chosen chapter/weekly lecture topic discuss how the images define the terms,
and how the terms describe the images. Refer to your readings to develop your argument. Use
your images as evidence, include any scanned images of your drawings/sketches, photos,
renderings, (from an array of sources) in the report.

• 1 building/project maximum (i.e. World Trade Center = 2 Buildings, but 1 project)

• 2-page maximum, Front and Back ONLY, not multiple sheets of paper
• 5 images maximum

describe your architecture
