In 1789 the president George Washington
declared the day of Thanksgiving and in that
year the people celebrated it in November 26th.

In 1863, President Lincoln proclaimed the last

Thursday in November as National
Thanksgiving Day. For a long time after this,
the president of the United States proclaimed
the day of Thanksgiving annually.
When it's Thanksgiving Day celebrated?
Thanksgiving Day is approaching, always celebrated on the fourth
Thursday in November, this year it will be November 23

The holiday of Thanksgiving means giving thanks, giving blessings

and spending time with family.
