Why do you want to study in Australia and not

any other country?
The decision to pursue my undergraduate
studies in Australia stems from its renowned
education system(especially the focus on real
world learning), its cultural diversity and
beautiful natural landscapes.

Why not India? Is the same course

available in your home country (in which
universities)?
While the Indian education system
emphasizes more on theoretical
knowledge, the Australian education
system focuses beyond classroom
teaching. Also, the Indian assessment
method is mostly examination based, but
the Australian education system assesses
students’ knowledge on practical skills
using projects, reasoning and value based
questions, assignments, essays, seminars,
and other aspects that are of high value.
The course of BSc in Statistics is fairly
uncommon in Indian universities.
Nevertheless, institutions such as the
renowned Indian Statistical Institute and
Chennai Mathematical Institute offer a
similar Bachelor of Statistics Program.
