AIM:
To Know the Basic tools used in Photoshop
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All programs->Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
STEP 2: Select File->new. Enter the file name Set Width, Height, Resolution and
Mode and save the Layer.
STEP 3:Select File->Open choose an image and open it.
STEP 4: Using the tools
Select a tool by clicking its icon in the toolbox. A small triangle at
the lower right of a tool icon indicates that there are hidden tools.
STEP 5: To show or hide the toolbox:
Choose Window > Tools. A check mark indicates the item is showing.
STEP 6: To move the toolbox:
Drag the toolbox by its title bar.
STEP 7: To display the tool options bar:
Choose Window > Options.
Click a tool in the toolbox.
STEP 8: Save the Program.
STEP 9: Close the Program.

AIM:
To Design an image by cutting the objects from 3 files and organizing
them in a single file and applying feather effects.
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All programs->Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
STEP 2: Select File->new. Enter the file name Set Width, Height, Resolution and
Mode and save the Layer.
STEP 3: Select File->Open choose an image and open it.
STEP 4: 2. Select the flower in it using Magnetic Lasso tool ->right click->feather->
give feather radius 20 pixels.
STEP 5: Go to edit-> copy-> open a new file with height 500 and width also 500->paste
the flower.
STEP 6: Repeat the same procedure for f2.jpg and f3.jpg-> select the flower ->give
feather effect->edit->copy-> open a new file-> paste.
STEP 7: You will get o final single file with 3 flowers from different files.
STEP 8: Save the new file.

AIM:
To Design an image by extracting flower only from a given photographic
image
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All programs->Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

Mode and save the Layer.
STEP 3: Select File->Open choose an image and open it.
STEP 4: Select Layer->Duplicate layer.
STEP 5: Select the flower from the image using the Lasso tool or Marquee tool.
STEP 6: Go to edit-> copy->Again go to file->new->give height 500 and width
500.
STEP 7: Choose an appropriate background and foreground color from the
toolbar.
STEP 8: Go to Edit->fill->under use select background color->ok.
STEP 9: Go to Edit->paste.
STEP 10:Save the Program.
STEP 11: Close the Program.

EX NO :6 BATCH AND HEALING TOOL

AIM:
To Design an image by using patch or healing brush tool to remove
damaged parts of an image.
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All programs->Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
STEP 2: Select File->new. Enter the file name Set Width, Height, Resolution,
and Mode and save the Layer.
STEP 3:Select File->Open choose an image and open it.
STEP 4: Select Layer->Duplicate layer.
STEP 5: Select the Patch tool and draw an area around your selection.

STEP 6. In the options bar, adjust the size and hardness of the Spot Healing
Brush tool to fit the item.
STEP 7: Move the cursor over the selected area and drag it to the left, right, or in
any direction.
STEP 8: Choose whether you choose Source or Destination mode in the Options
Bar.
STEP 9: When you release the mouse or stylus, Photoshop blends the pixels
from the source or the destination area.
Healing Brush Tool
STEP 10: Next select the Healing Brush Tool from the toolbox.
STEP 11: On the Options bar, select the Sampled option. Alt-click somewhere
on the image to define a sampling point. Paint with the Healing Brush Tool on
the damaged area.

STEP 12: To retouch using a pattern:

 On the Options bar, select the Pattern option.


 Choose a pattern from the Pattern picker (movie).
 Paint with the Healing Brush Tool on a damaged area.
STEP 13: Save the Program.
STEP 14: Close the Program.

PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Go to Start>Programs>Adobe Photoshop 7.0 7.0

STEP 2: Select File > New to open a new layer.

STEP 3: Select the layer properties and save the layer.

STEP 4: Open an image using File > Open

STEP 5: Add a new blank layer named "Layer 1" above the Background layer.
Double- click directly on the name of the layer and change it to
"Rainbow"
STEP 6: Select the Gradient Tool from the Tools panel

STEP 7: Click on the Gradient Picker in the Options Bar at the top of the screen.
Click on the right-pointing arrow in the top right of the Gradient
Editor. Select the "Special Effects" gradients. Click "Append" to add the
new "Special Effects" gradients in with the original gradients.

STEP 8: Click on the "Russell's Rainbow" thumbnail to select the gradient.

STEP 9: Select "Radial" from the Options Bar.

STEP 10: Dragging out a radial rainbow gradient from right to left in the image.

STEP 11: Photoshop draws the gradient when you release your mouse button.

STEP 11: Change the blend mode of the rainbow layer to Screen.

STEP12: The rainbow after changing its blend mode to Screen. Go to Filter >
Blur > Gaussian Blur. Drag the Radius slider to soften the color
transitions in the rainbow.

STEP 13: Now the rainbow now looks more realistic after applying the Gaussian
Blur filter.
STEP 14:Save the Program.
STEP 15: Close the Program.

AIM:

PROCEDURE:

and other properties and save the document.
STEP 3: Draw a circle on the first frame using the circle tool from the toolbar on
left side.
STEP 4: Select Layers->Add motion Guide
STEP 5: Select Toolbox->Pen tool to draw motion path.
STEP 6: Move the circle at the beginning of the motion path
STEP 7: Select the guide layer and insert keyframes(Press F6 (or) Right
Click>Insert keyframe at the beginning and end of the Timeline.

STEP 8: Select the Layer1 and insert keyframes(Press F6 (or) Right Click>Insert
Keyframe) in the beginning and end of the Timeline.

STEP 9: Move the circle at the end of the motion path.


STEP 10: In layer1 timeline drag over the mouse from the first to second
keyframe, Right-click->Create Motion Tween.
STEP 11: Now Ctrl+Enter or select control->Play to play the animation.

AIM:

PROCEDURE:

STEP 2: Choose the textbox from the tool bar. Type the word as ‘WELCOME’
on layer1. Select the complete word, increase its Font size and change
the color.
STEP 2: Select the Layer1 and insert keyframes(Press F6 (or) Right Click>Insert
keyframe in the beginning and end of the Timeline.
STEP 2: Add New layer using timeline->Insert Layer.
STEP 2: Select the circle from the toolbar and create a circle on the work area.
Now fill the color to the circle using the paint bucket tool from the
toolbar.
STEP 2: Step by step move the ball over the text and insert keyframe using
the timeline at the 1st and 80th keyframe.
STEP 2: Drag the mouse over Layer2’s Timeline, Choose any frame->Right
click->Create Motion Tween.
STEP 2: Select Layer 2->Right Click ->Mask.
STEP 2: Go to control->test movie->see the masking effect.

AIM:

PROCEDURE:

and other properties and save the document.
STEP 2: Draw a traffic light bar using the rectangle tool from toolbox.
STEP 3: Draw a circle using the oval tool from the toolbox and color it. Ctrl+D
to make two copy the oval and color it white.
STEP 4: Select the First oval and insert the keyframe in the timeline (Press F6
(or) Right Click>Insert keyframe) in the beginning.
STEP 5: Then Select the second oval insert key frame (Press F6 (or) Right
Click>Insert keyframe )and change the oval color to yellow.
STEP 6: Then Select the third oval insert key frame (Press F6 (or) Right
Click>Insert keyframe )and change the oval color to green.
STEP 7: Select Insert->Timeline->Layer to add the second layer.
STEP 8: Choose File->Import->Import to stage and add a car image to the stage.
STEP 8: Insert a keyframe at the end of the green oval timeline. Insert a
keyframe at 45 and 70.
STEP 8: Drag the mouse over Layer2’s Timeline, Choose any frame->Right
click->Create Motion Tween.
STEP 2: Go to control->test movie->see the Layer effect.

AIM:
To Develop a Flash application to represent the growing moon
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All Programs->Macromedia->Macromedia Flash 8->Flash
Document.
STEP 2: Go to windows->properties and set size, background color, frame rate
and other properties and save the document.
STEP 3: Go to fill color under toolbar-> select the Black color as Background.
STEP 4: Select the oval tool in order to draw the moon. u will get a white circle.
STEP 5: Select the fill color to white-> select oval tool and draw a circle on the
moon to cover the moon->select the newly added circle-> right click->
convert to symbol-> movie clip-> name it as Moon.

STEP 6: Select the oval tool in order to draw the moon.


STEP 7: Select the fill color to White-> select the oval tool and draw a circle on
the moon to cover the moon->select the newly added circle-> right
click-> convert to symbol-> movie clip-> name it as Animation.

STEP 8: Move the Black circle over the white to get a half moon.

STEP 9: Now Select Black Oval Slightly move and insert the keyframe using
(Press F6 (or) Right Click>Insert keyframe.
STEP 10: Then Select Whole White and Black Oval Slightly move on the
workspace.
STEP 11: Finally go to control-> test movie-> to get a growing moon as the
output.
STEP 8:Save the Program.
STEP 9: Close the Program.

To Write an action script to play and stop an animation.
PROCEDURE:
STEP 1: Start->All Programs->Macromedia->Macromedia Flash 8->Flash
Document.
STEP 2: Go to windows->properties and set size, background color, frame rate
and other properties and save the document.
STEP 3:Insert Background Image and Animation characters using
File>Import to stage.
STEP 4:In the layer 1 timeline drag over the mouse from the first to second
keyframe,Right-click>Create Motion Tween.
STEP 5:Select the circle tool from the toolbar.draw a circlle on the work
area.Color it yellow.
STEP 6:Click on the 40th keyframe>Insert new Keyframe.
STEP 7:Selecting the last keyframe>draw a Big Circle on the circle by
selecting the circle toolbar so that it will cover the circle.
STEP 8:Again,click on any middle frame>under properties>under
tween>change the option shape from none.
STEP 9:To Import an Audio file,click on File>Import>Import to Library
Browes sound files and add them into a new layer.
STEP 10:Go to Control>Test Movie>See the circle changing into a rectangle.
STEP 11:Save the Program.
STEP 12:Close the Program.
