BARANGAY OF SABANG HELD ON DECEMBER 05, 2023 EXACTLY 09:50 IN THE

The session was called to order by the presiding officer at exactly 09:00 o’clock in the morning.
The invocation was led by Hon. Michael C. Abanza followed by the singing of the Philippine National
Anthem. The roll call of attendance was done, and all members of the body were present.

TIME STARTED: 9:50 am

I. Visitors: from Health Center

- Ma’am Lorma reported the case of Dengue to the Barangay Sabang Council is increasing, that
why she suggested to conduct clean-up drive.
- And they reported to the Barangay that there will be no more Free Vaccine for rabies due to no
available supply.
- And they request for additional BNS, so that the Barangay official together with the Health
Center Midwife will sent a request to the City for the said request.
- Hon. Michael Abansa informed that BHW Jepony will work as assistance of BNS for their BNS
Reporting.
- Hon. Alberto C. Caranto Jr. informed the council and the Health Center that all of BHW will
received allowance from Province.
- Ma’am Lorma informed the council about the Seminar for Nutrition Management Training on
December 11-15, 2023 at Almont Beach Resort, Surigao City and be attended by Barangay
Kagawad Committee on Health, and Hon. Michael Abansa will attend the said Seminar.
- Barangay Health Center requested a 5 reams of Long Bond Paper for their Reports.
- Ma’am Lorma informed the council that our bloodletting target is 126 donor.
- Ma’am Lorma request for the budget for un-expected visitors
- Lastly Ma’am Lorma informed that their will be a Flue Vaccine at Barangay Health Center On
December 7, 2023.

II. BARANGAY REVENUE ORDINANCE

- Hon. Yogel N. Guhiting Discuss the Barangay Tax Revenue Ordinance No. 001 Series of
2021of the Barangay Sabang, Surigao City for the review and changes that have been drafted.
- By January 2024, all the businesses must be registered and get their barangay business permit at
the end of the Month “January”.
- Failure to register their business permit will be penalized a Monthly penalty of 20% of the
tariff.
- The barangay must issue a placard to the registered business to be attached at the front of their
businesses.

III. ROAD CLEARING

- Barangay Captain Hon. Arnel M. Delan informed the council that there will be a road clearing
activity at Purok 3 new road.
- Road Clearing- Hon. Yogel N. Guhiting informed to conduct Road Clearing for Barangay Road
Clearing Monthly Report.

IV. PURCHASE OF EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES

- Hon. Yogel N. Guhiting informed the council that we have purchase the Emergency Equipment
and supplies for the preparedness of the disaster.
Flashlight, Radio, Raincoat, Botas, Batota, Long sleeve, Whistle and Cap.
- Hon. Joel Abansa informed the council about the remaining radio of previous administration
and currently at the hand of old tanod. And Barangay Captain Hon. Arnel M. Delan Requested
Kagawad Hon. Joel Abansa to take charge for taken it back to the Barangay and he agreed.

V. BARANGAY OFFICIAL ASSIGNEMENT/TASK

- Barangay Captain Hon. Arnel M. Delan Requesting the Barangay Official to participate for
upcoming Road Clearing and Cleaning, Declogging of Drainage Canal.
- Barangay Captain Hon. Arnel M. Delan informed and request the council to please be on time
for duty and attend the regular flag ceremony.

VI. TUPAD & AICS UPDATE AND CONCERN

- Hon. Arnel M. Delan vocalize about the listing of TUPAD & AICS that he emphasizes which
are those poor and under privilege will really benefit from this program.

VII. ADDITIONAL TANOD TO PUROK 7 AND PUROK 8

 - Is still subject to settle because there is still no budget for this.

VIII. RESOLUTION TO REQUEST STREET LIGHT

- The barangay council have requested a resolution for street lights which will be addressed to
Vice Mayor Hon. Alfonso S. Casurra.

IX. OTHER MATTERS

- Hon. Councils suggest for the incoming Christmas Party that every sangguniang barangay
member should bring 5 separated rice pack which totals of 25 kilos each.
- Moreover, the Hon. Councils suggested to request a letter for Taganito Mining about the
incoming Christmas Party for their financial support.

As there were no matters to be discussed, in motion of Hon. Arnel M. Delan and duly seconded
by Hon. Alberto C. Caranto Jr. This session ended at 11:45 in the morning.
