URGENT MEMORANDUM

TO : CLUSTER HEADS and all C/MLGOOs

SUBJECT : MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2023 -133 REGARDING

BARANGAY AT KALINISAN DAY (BarKaDa)

DATE : SEPTEMBER 12, 2023

This is in reference to the Memorandum issued by Dir. Ariel O. Iglesia, CESO III,
Regional Director, DILG IV-A, dated September 8, 2023 regarding the above-mentioned
subject.

Relative thereto, all C/MLGOOs are hereby directed to perform the following
activities, viz:

1. Disseminate the attached DILG Memorandum Circular No. 2023-133 regarding

Barangay at Kalinisan Day (BarKaDa);
2. Ensure the conduct of a separate clean-up drive by all LGUs in identified sites
within their respective areas of jurisdiction on September 16, 2023;
3. Disseminate the advocacy materials to inform and encourage participation
among local government units, civil society organizations, and the general public
of the simultaneous clean-up activity. Materials may be downloaded via this link:

4. Participate in the clean-up activity of the local government units and confirm your
attendance by filling out the Google sheet through this link:

P.M.; and
5. Accomplish the clean-up drive monitoring sheet that can be accessed through this

the conduct of the clean-up activity.
