BUSINESS MEETING

Nikolina: Good afternoon everybody, welcome to this meeting. My

name is Nikolina and as you may know I am C.E.O. at “Gensler”
company. I invited you all here today to make a decision on the budget
for investing abroad. It is my great honor to introduce you to our
financial manager, Jana. She will later express her opinion and provide
the necessary data on the company's financial situation. After that we
will consider some of the proposals for future investments.
In the previous year, great financial gains were achieved, so I think we
are in the right situation for investing abroad. Jovana, can you tell us
something more about it?
Jovana: It will be my pleasure to show you the improvement of our
company during the previous year. As you already know, during the last
year, a couple of contracts were concluded with which our company
achieved great success in all fields. Thanks to proper investments, this
year we have twice as much income as we had last year at this time. If
we continue at this pace, in a few years we can be one of the most
prestigious companies in our country.
Nikolina: I am very glad to hear that. It is a great honor to know that
the company is progressing so quickly in a short time. Now, I would like
Jana to tell us about the state of the budget.
Jana: Thank you. Good afternoon from me,too. Just as Jovana said, the
state of the budget is much better than last year at this time. Thanks to
new partnerships and investments, the annual budget has been
significantly increased. New investments abroad can be risky, but if we
succeeded, the success we would achieve would be incredible. On the
other hand, if we were to fail, there would be enough funds left in the
budget for the company's operations. All business partners are ready to
offer financial assistance for the sake of our better business. Of course,
there are risks in every business, but if we all work together and
cooperate, there are greater chances that we will achieve success in
business.

Nikolina: Thank you so much. Based on all that has been said, we can
conclude that improvements in our business are evident. All our efforts
are recognized and, above all, visible. Does anyone have anything to say
related to this topic?
Andjela: My personal opinion is that we should not risk it. As a small
company that has just achieved success, I don't think we should take
any risiks. One failure will brought more failures, and we don't need
that, at least not at the very beginning of the business. Even though it
turned out that the company is doing excellent business, it can have
negative effects. Contrary to our hopes and expectations, a collapse in
the work of our company can easily occur, as has happened in other
companies. I hope you understand that I have no bad intentions, but
that I am saying this with the best intentions for our entire team
Martina: I agree with Andjela. I think that one failure would bring great
disappointments to both employees and business partners. That
disappointment will bring us more downfalls. Certainly, disappointment
would affect the motivation of all employees in the company, and that
would directly affect the success of our company. I believe that we
could first try investing in a partnership, and then decide whether we
should invest independently.
Jana: I completely understand all your intentions and suggestions, but if
we go back a few years and take the example of now large companies,
you will see that each of their beginnings was like this - full of risks. We
have to face some of these risks in order to improve what we have
already achieved.

Emilija: I think we should take risks. We are certainly not losing

anything, and the success could be huge. It is true that we will be
disappointed if we do not succeed, but at least we tried. Even if this
investment fails, it can be another lesson in our business. It can
improve our mutual cooperation, and it can bring new partnerships
that would help future investments
Jovana: In this, I share my opinion with Emilija, the state of the budget
is excellent and I think that with a little effort we could succeed in these
new investments. Although it is possible that a small failure will
happen, it is not worth giving up. We will face many ups and downs, so
that is no reason not to try what we think will work for at least 10
percent.
Nikolina: Thank you all for expressing your opinion. If you have any
additional questions, we will be happy to answer them.
Andjela: What percentage of the total budget would be invested in this
investment?
Jana: If we add up all possible expenses, approximately 11 percent of
our total budget could be invested, of which as much as 4 percent
would be included in marketing.
Martina: How long is this project expected to last?
Nikolina: It is primarily expected to last about six months, but if there
are some complications, it may take up to a year.
Emilija: Is it known in which country we would try this investment?
Jana: Looking at all our business partners and their investments, the
best country for initial investments based on their success is Sweden.
Jovana: Sweden seems to be the best choice in every respect, after it it
is planned to try investing in Luxembourg as well as in Morocco.
Nikolina: We would start with this European countrys, and we hope to
soon be able to do business on other continents as well.
Jana: I apologize, unfortunately there is no more time, I have to finish
certain reports. When is the next meeting?
Nikolina: it's okay, we're definitely done for today. Let's summarize
what has already been said. New investments, even though they are
risky, will be implemented in Sweden. If you have new ideas for
investments or any additional questions, you can contact me or Jana at
our e-mails.
