COURSE OBJECTIVES:

To impart knowledge on the following Topics

1. To model the power system under steady state operating condition.


2. To understand and apply iterative techniques for power flow analysis.
3. To model and carry out short circuit studies on power system.
4. To model and analyze stability problems in power system.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

operational studies.
EE1502A.2 Apply power flow analysis techniques to analyse and solve power system problems.
EE1502A.3 Analyze symmetrical faults in power systems using appropriate methods and algorithms
EE1502A.4 Analyze unsymmetrical faults in power systems using sequence networks and sequence
impedance calculations.
EE1502A.5 Analyze power system stability and understand the concepts of rotor angle stability and
voltage stability
