Unit summary
This unit is about the way you promote products and services to your clients to extend their use of your salon. You are required to advise clients on
products and services available and encourage clients to return to the salon.

Unit aims
This unit aims to ensure you are able to:
 understand the importance of promoting products and services to clients
 understand the importance of recognising the opportunities to promote products and services
 understand the importance of good communication methods and the techniques used for advising clients on services and products
 identify your salons services and products to promote and the limits of own authority for this
 understand the importance of updating individual knowledge on services and products.
