Hello guys today we want to presentate how we would do our road trip to California.

We
would visit places we’re the most interested in. To save travel time we only go to sights in
San Francisco where our hotel named the Four Seasons Hotel is located. It’s at
Embarcadero.

You can walk to our first travel location in 7 minutes which is named China town, and its
entrance is a „dragon gate“. Here you can see a photo o fit. We would go to that China Town
because we are very interested in different cultures and it´s really near to our hotel.

Our second travel location would be Alcatraz, because we watched a documentation and
thought it would be fascinating how the criminals were handled in the past. Alcatraz is a
prison island, which is located near San Francisco but even though it’s near San Francisco
the weather can be very different from the weather in San Francisco. It’s free to visit the
island, but it’s surrounded by water and you have to buy tickets for the ferry which leads to
the island. Only the felons were imprisoned there because it was almost impossible to
escape from there, but there were a few escape attempts. It was used from 1934-1963, and
now you can visit a museum. Here you can see a picture of Alcatraz. It´s about 8,5 hectares
big and 550 m long.

Next we are looking forward to visiting the Japanese Tea Garden in the Golden Gate Park.
It’s a really beautiful garden which measures 5 hectares and which entrance is free on
Wednesday, so we don’t have to pay money for it. In a pond there are Kois, which are
beautiful fishes. There is also a gift shop at a waterfall where we can buy souvenirs. We want
to visit this park because of the Japanese culture and because we want to relax at least one
day and just chill. Here you can see a photo from a part of the Garden. At the next day we
would just want to stay in the hotel. Here is a photo of our hotel.

The last checkpoint on our road trip is the Lake Tahoe. It is an aquatic
environment that was first called Lake Bigler which was the third
governors name, but in the year 1862 the name Tahoe Lake was
introduced. Only in the year 1945 it was officially called Lake Tahoe. It is
located in Nevada and has 4 inflows designate Ward Creek, Blackwood
Creek, Madden Creek, Meek Creek. We had the idea to go to the Stateline
shore to go swimming because we like the environment of nature. After
our swimming session we get back in the car and drive instantly to the
airport and fly directly back to Germany.
