Summary
Five months after her wife left Edward (Skip) Skipperton, he had a heart attack. The doctor
said that the best thing he could do to get best way was to go to live on a farm and stop
drinking and smoking. So he bought a small farm in Maine. Then, he found Andy Humbert,
to work and live on the farm. Everything was perfect now except for one thing: his neigbour,
Peter Frosby. Peter had all the rights to fish on the river that was on front of the house, and
Skip want them for fish, so he ofreced to bought them, but Peter do not want to safe. The
next week, Skip, thelephoned Frosby inviting him for a drink and he accepted. So Skip
questioned him why he didn't want to save the rights, and he said the Frosbys have had the
same territory for 300 years, so I don't want to save it. Skip was sad because the invitation
had failed, but in that moment he had an idea, he said that Peter can rent to him the river
for the rest of his life if Skip gave him five thousand dollars for year. Peter said no again. So
Skip thinked a way to annoy Peter, but when Maggie comes back for the summer holidays,
he forgets about Frosby. And he prepared a red Toyota for when Maggie comes back. The
other day Maggie comed with three fishes.
