they voted for services without
expecting anything in return.
 d) What did you learn from this interview? Money, for example, has
a strong "selection

receptive government
to the affluent's desires

Most importantly,
though, is that the idea
that money "buys"
elections has the
potential to erode
public trust in the
democratic process
