They were also assured that questions will not ask about their personal details or include their
credentials.
Participants in the study were selected randomly from the target community. The
approach ensured there is fairness and the selected people represented the entire population in the
area (Dijkstra et al., 2022). The method could be questioned since there could be more males
than females and vice versa, hence no gender equality in the study.
The study used a group of patients and their families. Therefore, the group of participants
could be considered vulnerable since they were in pain while the information they shared could
be used for the researcher's gain. Participants were also desperate to overcome their health
Since the study used patients as their participants, they ensured no harm or pain was
exposed to the team. This was achieved by providing interview questions in their locations, in
the hospital and at home. Therefore, patients did not struggle or strain to achieve the researcher's
demands.

The study clearly shows how they protected participants' privacy and confidentiality.
They stated that in the interviews, participants were not requested to add personal details such as
names. Additionally, they were assured that the information they shared would only be used for
that project purpose and could not be shared with other parties.
