Each student must write 1 short paper (1.500-3.000 words) on a country’s political system.

You must explicitly apply Comparative Politics paradigms and methodology in your paper. You may
use a diachronic comparison of two or more cases or a synchronic comparison of a single case. Please
use Almond, Gabriel A., Kaare Strom, and Russell J. Dalton. Comparative politics today: a world
view. Ed. G. Bingham Powell. Pearson, 2014 for the theoretical structure of the assignment and
the possible cases.

You are expected to use at least 5 scientific articles from SSCI journals, academic books or book
chapters. You may use APA style for the paper. You may find samples here:
