MR Intensive mixers were developed for the most diverse jobs in the processing of raw

materials, mechanical mixtures and compounds. Variable setting of machine components and
energy range ensures a high degree of efficiency. It can be set up for either counter-current or
cross-current operation.

The multi functional mixing system can be used for many different applications e.g for mixing,
granulating, kneading, pelletizing, coating, dispersing, dissolving and many more.

In the field of industrial preparation, the mixing process plays a key factor to the final product. The
mixing (motion and intensity) of material should be as varied as possible. MR mixing technology could
achieve the optimal homogeneity in much reduced time.

Three components determine the characteristics of this mixers:

1. A rotating mixing pan driven by a gear rim and geared motor that continually transports the
material to the rotating mixing tool bolted up with Abrasion resistant Hardox wall and
bottom liner plates plates for long life.
2. A rotating mixing tool driven by standard motor and V-Belts or by geared motor protected
from wear by an armoured coating or tungsten carbide hard faced.
3. An adjustable multipurpose wall-bottom scrapper with interchangeable edge optionally
made of tungsten carbide designed to prevent residue accumulations on the wall and bottom
surface of the mixing pan.

Mixing Principle

A rotating and tilted mixing pan with an eccentrically arranged mixing tool produces optimum mixing
results in the shortest possible time. In the process, the fixed scrapper on the wall performs the
cleaning of the mixing pan wall and promotes the movement of the process material.

The different geometries of the interchangeable mixing tools and option of varying their speed with
wide limits, the system setup can be perfectly adjusted to meet the needs of completely different tasks
and consistencies.
