Applications of robotics in various fields of knowledge.

Alunos: Arthur Sousa Furtado, Paulo Henrique e Carlos Antonio dos Santos Mello.

It is common nowadays to hear about robotics, but it is not a new concept in

our present time. The idea of using machines to automate processes dates back to
the Industrial Revolution with the creation of the steam engine. It enabled the
automation of textile manufacturing. Currently, robots are adopted in virtually every
field of knowledge, we will explore some areas and their applications.
Robots are employed in all areas of knowledge, however, they are most
commonly used in industrial, service, and educational sectors. In industry, robots are
used to automate processes, such as robotic arms for assembling car parts. They
are also utilized in the production of increasingly smaller electronic components,
thanks to their precision.
In the service sector, there are robots capable of automatically vacuuming or
cleaning your home. In medicine, robots are used in surgeries to increase the
chances of a patient surviving. There are also robots capable of autonomous
transportation, such as Tesla cars, which use sensors to perceive the road, enabling
autonomous travel. In education, robots are used by teachers to stimulate students
to understand complex and abstract concepts, such as mathematical and physical
principles.
The use of robotics in our present time is already a reality, being applied in
virtually all areas of knowledge, bringing about a significant revolution in these fields,
particularly in the mentioned sectors.
