this scenario are:

 Decision-Making Skills:
Laura had to make quick decisions to address the disruptions caused by high staff turnover. This
indicates her ability to analyze situations, consider alternatives, and make effective decisions in a
timely manner.

 Problem-Solving Skills:
Dealing with high staff turnover is a significant problem that requires strategic thinking and
effective solutions. Laura had to identify the root causes of the turnover, develop strategies to
mitigate its impact, and implement solutions to ensure the smooth flow of work.

 Leadership Skills:
As the head of a department and a direct report to agency leadership, Laura is likely exercising
leadership skills. This involves guiding her team, providing direction, and taking responsibility for
the outcomes of the department.

 Adaptability/Flexibility:
Laura had to navigate a challenging situation where the agency was cautious in hiring due to
increased competition for federal grant funding. Her ability to adapt to these external challenges
and still ensure the department's success showcases adaptability and flexibility.

 Communication Skills:

There are three types of managerial skills,these are –

 Human Skills.
 Conceptual Skills

Elite Mehedi possess of Human skills.


Human Skill: It is an ability to communicate work with and motivate people both individually and in
groups,leadership is an example of human skill.
Also in this passage there is leadership,communication and also collaboration which are parts of human
skills.
 Elite Mehedi demonstrates leadership by initiating collaboration between Elite Mehedi and
SEU for a cultural program,which involves leading and guiding the programmes collection.
 Proposal involves coordinations and effective communication with SEU and a telecast on social
media platforms.

There are also many types of managerial roles were played by different authorities in the program.Here
is the overview of the Managerial Roles in the Program:

 Figurehead: It is a part of interpersonal category providing information and ideas.


*In this passage Elite Mehedi represents them by collaborating the program.
*Program will telecast on different on different social media.
So it plays figurehead because it represents the organization by following,social,ceremonial and legal
responsibilities.
 Liason: It’s also a part of Interpersonal Category.Manager must communicate with internal and
external contacts.Maintain network effectively of behalf of their organization.
*SEU provide students for the program and they will maintain network effectively on behalf of their
organization.
 Spokesperson: It is a part of informational category which involves processing
information.Here manager shares information with outsiders like competitor ,customer etc.
*At the beginning of the program a presentation will be given by the HR personal of both organization.
 Entrepreneur:It is apart of decisional category which involves using information.Manager takes
initiative to create change and central change within the organization.This means new ideas
and implementing them.
#Elite Mhehdi and SEU both are organizing the program.

These are all roles collecting contribute the successful execution of the control program.
