Sub: Guidelines for B.Tech Project – reg.

The department is in the process of constituting project teams to perform the project
work in the academic year 2023-24. Initially, the department has given the opportunity to
the students for proposing the project teams on their choice and to prioritise the supervisor.
Following are the guidelines while proposing the said project teams:
1. The names of the students in each team along with priority of the supervisor
shall be submitted in the duly filled application form (Attached).
2. The composition of each team should be three (03) members consisting of
one number of team coordinator and two number of team members. No
request in altering members in a team is allowed at any case.
3. In case if a student / a constituted team could not propose three members,
the department shall add the member randomly at a later stage before
notifying project teams.
4. It is mandatory to prioritise all listed faculty in the application as supervisors
based on the area of interest of the team. The average CGPA of the finally
constituted team shall be considered for the counselling to allot the
supervisor of the team.
5. In case of any discrepancy or overlap of the members during the submission
of forms, the department shall have the right to take any decision and finalize
the project teams.
6. Whereever whole team is proposed, only the team coordinator can submit the
form with the consent of other members. In all other cases, a student /
partially formed team can submit the application individually or one among
them.

The duly filled application shall be communicated in PDF format to
