Global History Lab

Informed Consent and Deed of Gift Form

Princeton's Global History Lab (GHL) is a platform for learning, skill development, and
collaboration that works to educate international learners about the history of globalization,
and train them in oral history methods so they can become knowledge producers for a wider
world. The first course, "A History of the World since 1300," explores the history of global
integration and disintegration from multiple perspectives. The second course, “Global History
Dialogues,” teaches international learners the skills necessary to undertake their own history
projects.

We are recording any online class sessions and student presentations so that learners who have
missed class can follow the sessions at a later point in time. The recordings are used for
scholarly and educational purposes as determined by the project.

Your signature indicates that the purpose of the project and the use of the recordings have
been explained to you and that you have agreed to participating in recorded class sessions. It
further indicates that you give, convey, and assign your contributions to the class discussions
during the Global History Lab’s yearlong program.
