PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
Instructions for use of Contract
This contract template is for use in awarding Host Country Resident (HCR) and Non-Host Country
Resident Personal Services Contracts at a Peace Corps post. This template conforms to the policies of
Manual Section 732, Peace Corps Overseas Acquisition System. The wording of paragraphs within this
template are not to be modified without the written approval of Director of Acquisition and Contract
Management or his/her designee. Overseas Contracting Officers should fill in the blanks on the Cover
Sheet, add the OdyWeb generated pages, add probationary period language (if applicable) in II, fill in the
periods of performance in II, modify the workweek language in VI (if applicable), add the Statement of
Work for applicable services, and add Attachment III--Benefits.

This template is primarily designed for use in awarding Long Term contracts (260 workdays or a shorter
base period with 260 workday option periods) but may be used for contracts of a shorter duration, so long
as compensation and benefits included in the contract are appropriate.

Privacy Act Statement

This information requested is collected under the authority of The Peace Corps Act, 22 U.S.C. 2501 et seq.
Section 10(a)(5) to acquire personal services by contract and for the purpose of awarding Personal Services
Contracts. The Privacy Act defines an individual as a citizen of the United States or an alien lawfully
admitted for permanent residence. Disclosure of this information is voluntary. This information may be
used for the routine uses described in Peace Corps Privacy Act System of Records PC-11 (Personal Service
Contracts), including General Routine Uses A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, K and L. Failure to provide the
information will result in no contract being awarded.
