IIIT Hyderabad Invites Applications for Cyber Security Administrator – 1 Position

The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad is a world-class

institution offering B.Tech., Master of Science by Research, Dual Degree (BTech + MS),
MTech, and Ph.D. programs.

Job Description:
As a Cyber Security Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of the
institute's IT systems and networks. You will work closely with other IT teams to implement
and maintain security protocols and procedures that protect the institute from cyber-
attacks.

Job Responsibilities:
 Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures.
 Monitor and manage IT system access controls.
 Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
 Implement and manage IT system security protocols and procedures.
 Provide training to employees on IT security best practices.
 Respond to security incidents and breaches.

Skills & Experience:

 Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a
related field
 3+ years of experience in cyber security or a related field
 Strong knowledge of IT security protocols and procedures
 Experience with IT security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection
systems, SIEM tools)
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills
 Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Knowledge of industry standards and regulations such as ISO 27001 /Certification in
cyber security (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional) is a plus.

Type of Role: Consolidated position with a 1-year contract initially, which may be
renewed based on performance and Institute’s needs.

Pay: Consolidated salary starts from Rs. Rs. 7 Lakhs/annum and considerations with
experience or as per Institute’s norms.
