Resources: Move Ahead 2, Notebook, Chalk, and Duster
Methodology: Brainstorming, Reading, Discussion, Written Work.
 Brainstorming: Students will be asked:
 What are the locations where volcanoes erupt?
 Objective sharing and introduction of the topic.
 Students will be explained “factual description” in relation with the theme “Evaluating change.”
 Thematic web will be pasted on the notebooks.
 Pre-reading Activity: Students will be asked to look at the picture on pg 138 and discuss in pairs
The qs in preview.
 Reading: Students will be asked to do the reading of the “Volcano” on pg 150-154, silently.
 Discussion : Discussion will be held to discuss factual description of the volcano
 Oral discussion: Qs 1-8 on pg 154-155 will be discussed orally.
 Written Work: Qs 9-15 on pg 154-155 will be done on notebooks after discussion.
 Recap: how are volcanoes formed?
