1.1.

1 The weight age for each component will normally be:


Theory 40% (Through Centralized Course End Examination i.e.
CCEE)
Laboratory 40%
Internal 20%
(Internal Assessment: Through Lab Assignment Evaluation, Surprise Tests,
attendance, Viva, Seminars)
Note: Where a module does not have a practical component, the practical component weight age
will be merged with the Internal Assessment component weight age.
1.1.2 A student must score a minimum of 40 percent marks in each component of the
evaluation, and also in the aggregate score, in order to successfully clear the module.
If a student scores more than 40% on aggregate but has scored less than 40% in one
component of the evaluation, he will not be declared as passed.
1.1.3 The figures shown below indicate the weightage of each subject in the final performance statement for
PG-DIoT.
