Essential Oil Aromatherapy

and Diffuser Blends

by Kelly Cable, Simple Life Mom

We use essential oils in my household for a number of different purposes, from medicinal to
odor eliminating. They are plant based, but still need to be used with care. Don’t diffuse around
cats or other pets without them having an easy way to leave the area for fresh air. Cats
especially are very sensitive. Also, pay attention to which essential oils small children are
sensitive too. I don’t diffuse around tiny babies. Small children are usually totally fine in small
amounts. Everything in moderation, no matter what your age. See my Essential Oil Safety Guide
that you received in a separate email. If you missed that, send me a note.

I create all of these blends in equal amount of drops for simplicity. Start with 2-3 drops of each
oil for a diffuser blend and take notes on whether you’d like one oil to be slightly stronger or
not. Enjoy these blends for uplifting, calming, or energizing benefits, as well as for calming the
mind when it’s time to rest.
