Due to power fluctuations experienced per day in the Lagos metropolis, I ’ ll recommend that an
inverter be installed for each apartment. The sizing of the inverter could be between 2KVA to
5KVA, which would largely depend on what our power consumption estimate is calculated to be.
Most of these power Inverter come with 2 or 4 batteries depending on the rating, this would be
provide Uninterrupted Power Supply to Television, Sound System, Light fixtures, and Refrigerator
for about 3 - 5hrs if we have quality Lithium batteries. A 5.5KVA Power Inverter costs between
#430,000 and #500,000 presently in Nigeria.
Dry cell batteries (Deep cycle - 200Ah, 12V) costs about #135,000 each,

while the wet cell batteries (Deep cycle - 220Ah, 12V) costs about #185,000 each

Sound is an essential part of our everyday life and having a good sound system would be a big
boost to one’s living area or Bedroom as is applicable to different individuals. Ceiling speakers and
good amplifier like Denon, Yamaha, Polk Audio, Sonos are all great products that deliver quality

changed to a Modular Row Distribution Board (DIN Rail Distribution Board). This not only makes
our cable management more effective, but also avails us the opportunity to have both RAW Power
