− background information of this fashion model: Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Vietnamese, a well-known
model aka beauty queen, She is now working for Sen Vang
− the occasion on which you knew him/her: I haven’t had a chance to meet her, I saw her on TV show
called “Miss Grand International’, a competition for model and she participated in that
competition. She won the beauty contest as the pageant of Miss Grand International
− reasons why you admire him/her: admire her personality. She’s confident, humorous and
emotionally intelligent. She also experienced lots of difficulties in her career, but she never gives up,
and always tries to be a better version of hi m herself. I really like the way she inspires the positive
energy to people and learn lots of lessons from that.
− his/her influence on your fashion style: My fashion style is influenced by her a little bit. I love her
ordinary but specially stylized taste and notice it in detail. She often wears simple outfit in live show
such as officer, worker,… These clothes looked simple but with her confidence, she made herself
outstanding and charismatic in the crowd. Thanks to her, I learned that appearance and outfit are not
the only thing determine your beauty, but personalities as well. Inspired by that, I usually wear casual
custom, and try to be as positive with some facial expression like a warm smile, as possible, to make
myself look more confident and friendly
Topic 5: Make a conversation about an urban crime that you had/saw/heard. You should include:
− the kind of the urban crime: Pick pocketing
− the time when it happened: 3 months ago
− the place where the crime happened : on the bus
− some advice to stay safe: kept money in luggage or backpack and lock it, bring a little money in the
pursue or wallet, stay near window, better to go with your familiar companion who you can trust
Topic 6: Make a conversation about your attitudes towards animals. You should include:
− some reasons why people like/dislike certain animals: most people like domestic animal such as
dog, cat because of their baby-face-like features (such as big eyes, small nose, chubby cheeks) and
personalities (dog- loyal, playful; cat - calm and intelligent). Some people dislike animals, especially
reptiles and insects, because of some of their weird body traits, like the lack of fur skin (reptiles), and
filthy that affect health(like insects), other maybe because of their lack of interaction to human like
mammals, or cold-blooded, can be dangerous to humans.
− the importance of being kind to animals: Animals have feelings, they are also creatures growing and
living on Earth , like human. They deserved to be treated humanely and respected terroritiall
− ways to change people’s attitudes towards animals: 1. spreading message about protecting and
treated positively toward animal through speech, posters, or social medias such as Facebook,
YouTube or Google. 2. Try to adopt a pet and live with it for a while to understand and sympathize its
feeling and behaviour.
− your experiences with animals: I use to mistreat my cat by chasing it for fun that made it scared and
would run away when it saw me. As long as I become more mature, I changed my attitude to my cat. I
learned to treat the cat in a friendly and soft way. I fed my cat, I made in hand and offered it a shelter.
Later, our relationship became better, The cat wasn’t scared of me anymore, it even approaches me
whenever it saw me, I also talked to my cat whenever I felt sad or lone, its calmness and
concentration let me confess everything held in my heart

Topic 7: Make a conversation about the best way and place to shop for an item (clothes, electronic
devices or appliances, cars, etc.) in your city. You should include:
− the location of the place: Rach Gia City is located in the Kien Giang Province of Vietnam. It’s a
charming town known for its tree-lined streets, blossoming flowers, and many cafes
− the services they offer: Rach Gia offers a variety of shopping experiences. You can find everything
from local markets to modern shopping malls. There are also many hotels in the city that offer shopping
services. For example, some hotels offer free taxi rides to shopping areas
− some ways to get a good deal: To get a good deal in Rach Gia, it’s a good idea to explore the city on
foot. This allows you to discover local markets and shops that might not be listed in

− details of the issue: My parents didn’t allow me to use mobile phone or computer in middle school.
− reasons why the issue occur: Because they believed I could be addicted to games and social media
on electronic devices and distract my academic performance, and actually my score were terrible
because of my laziness
− solutions to the issue: When I moved to high school, I promised to study harder, I made a schedule
about the time I will learn and review lessons, and the free time that I can use the phone, I also give
up on installing games as I consider it addictive to my progress. My parents give me another chance I
didn’t make them disappointed. My performance has been improved much better in the last 3 years.
− lessons you learned from it: Electronic devices is not bad if you use it rightfully, thanks my parents
for trusting me.
Topic 9: Make a conversation about a piece of shocking/frightening news you have recently heard.
You should
include:
− the content of the news: a female teenage delivering chicken were murdered brutally by a group of
criminals in Dien Bien
− the time when you heard it: 2019, when I was in grade 9
− the source of the news: first I saw it on a television, then the news widespread quickly on online
websites and social medias, one of the hottest and most haunting news at that time
− your ways to overcome the shock/fear(s): I stopped reading the news in order not to be too
obsessed about it, I unwind myself by some relaxation techniques such as Yoga, or Mediation. I also
tried to think on the positive ways, like through this incident, the dangerous criminals would be
sentenced to jailed and kept away from our society, people would be more aware of finding better
ways to defend themselves.
Topic 10: Make a conversation about the effects of electronic devices on people. You should include:
− positive effects of electronic devices on people
− negative effects of electronic devices on people
− ways to become a smart user of technology
