Activity 1
The T checks homework and the correct use of the verb have got.
Activity 2
The T introduces the rules for plural nouns extending previously acquired knowledge about
the topic.
The T explains that most nouns take –s to form the plural. Nouns ending in:-ch, sh, o, s, x, z
add es. Nouns ending in consonant+ y, omit the y and add ies. Nouns ending in f/fe, omit the
f/fe and add “ves”. Some nouns have irregular plurals. The T exemplifies each rule with
specific nouns.

Activity 3
The S practice the use of the plural solving exercises 5,6 page 27 in the workbook.
Activity 4- listening
The Ss listen to a radio programme about unusual animals and extract specific information.
