Republic of the Philippines Department of Education REGION IIL SCHOOLS DIVISION OFFICE OF TARLAC PROVINCE December 06, 2023 DIVISION MEMORANDUM NO, 64, s. 2023 ‘To: SUBMISSION OF BANK STATEMENT AND BANK RECONCILIATION All School Heads (Elementary and Secondary Schools Non-Implementing Units) Administrative Assistant III (Senior/District/ Satellite Accounting Bookkeepers) Pursuant to DepEd Order no. 29, Series of 2019 under Procedural Guidelines - Management of Cash Advances and Reporting Requirements; the School Head shall manage the school’s cash advances for school operations and program funds in accordance with DepEd Order No. 8, 8.2019 on the use of Schools’ MOOE allocation and submit to the SDO-Accounting Unit the Cash Disbursement Register, together with supporting documents and a copy of banks statements and passbook, following DepEd Order No. 72, s.2008 entitled, “Manual on Simplified Accounting Procedures for Non-Implementing Units’. The submission of liquidation reports must be consistent with the frequency/timeliness of the submission of reports following the applicable COA rules and regulations on cash advances. With this, the field is requested to submit Bank Statement and Bank Reconciliation as of December 27, 2023. This is to ensure that the balances in the checking accounts are properly adjusted, and necessary corrections are made. The deadline of submission will be on December 29, 2023 for Bank Statement together with the Advice to Debit/Credit Account of the outstanding balance or reverted amount back to the BTr and January 5, 2024 for Bank Reconciliation. All Non-Implementing Units Senior Bookkeeper, District/Central and/or Satellite Accounting Bookkeepers are advised to submit Bank Reconciliation with complete attachments such as Bank Statement or Snapshot whichever is available, Lists of Outstanding Checks and Cash in Bank Register (CBR) of their respective assigned schools on or before the abovementioned submission date. .
