1. YOUNG'S MODULUS(E):- Its also known as


hooke's law. according to this law the stress is
directly proportional to strain upto proportional
limit.

2. MODULUS OF RIGIDITY(G):- It is the coefficient of


elasticity for a shearing force.It is defined as the ratio
of the shear stress(q) to the shear strain(ф). 3. BULK MODULUS(K):- It is the ratio between direct
stress to the volumetric strain of a material up to

shear modulus G  elastic limit.
