1st Khutbah

Brothers in Islam. Let’s look the Tafsir of Surah Al Buruj, the famous story of the boy and the
king. Allah SWT didn’t mention this story except to take lesson from it. The details descriptions
of the incident are found in the numerous hadith and tafsir.

So, there was a tyrant oppressor king and his magician. The magician reached at an old age,
and he started to teach magic to a boy. The boy was learning magic and also was acquiring
knowledge form an Islamic ‘Aleem. So, one day a big giant beast was in the street and blocking
the people from moving across. The boy decided to check which is truth, the magic or the
Kalamuallah. And he uttered the Kalamullah and threw a rock, and the beast was killed. So,
the people started believing in Allah and following ISLAM. Long story short, a minister of the
kingdom also converted to ISLAM through his boy and the king was not happy to hear that
people are believing Allah as God and not him. The king killed the ‘Aleem and killed the
minister by applying a saw blade from head to toe and ripping apart them into halves. And
now the king wanted to kill the boy. They took him on the cliff and tried to push him down on
the ground, but Allah SWT saved him. They took him in the middle of ocean and tried to push
him down on the ocean but again Allah SWT saved him. This is miracle.

And there is a lesson. If the whole world wants to kill or do harm on some one, but Allah SWT
decides to save him, no one can harm him. And if whole world wants to protect someone and
ALLAH SWT decides to save him, no one can protect him. We have seen couple of days ago – a
newborn baby is found alive under the rubble after 37 days. This is miracle. Allah SWT
protected the baby where literally whole world tried to kill him. USA, EU, the illegal
occupation entity of Israel with the support of UN and hypocrite rulers of Muslim countries
wanted to kill this baby and Allah decided to protect him. SubhanAllah.

Ok, let’s go back to the story of surah Buruj. So, the boy was saved many times. The boy gave
advise to the King how to kill himself. He said, you have to bring all the people in front of us
and then shoot an arrow by saying “Bismillahi Rabbi Hazal Goolam”.
That means, “in the name of the Allah, the God of this boy”, and they you can kill me.
So, the king ordered to gather all people, and kill him saying this. And when the arrow was
shot by saying this, the boy was killed, and all the people witness this, and they started
believing in Allah and all of them were converted into Islam.

Now the king was shocked. He wanted people would believe him as GOD not Allah. But the
people were steadfast and believed in Allah. So, the king ordered to make many ditches full of
fire and throw them into the ditches to burn to death. All people showed tremendous level of
Iman and they were murdered by the oppressor king. Still, it could not shake their Iman and
Taqwa. The people were accepted as shaheed and the king was loser one.

They were killed just because of their iman, only because of they believed in Allah. As Allah
subhanahu wa’tala said,

And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
And they had blamed them for nothing but that they believed in Allah, the Most Mighty, the
Most Praiseworthy. Surah Buruj: Ayah 7-8.

Ikhwan al Muslimin, this is exactly what is happening in Gazza. The rulers, kings and presidents
of different countries are killing innocent civilian Muslims by bombing them. They have
dropped 25000 tonnes of bombs which is almost double of a nuclear bomb (1 Nuclear Bomb =
15000 tonnes). In Gazza, so far 15,000 + martyred, among them 6,000 were children (48 times
than Ukraine war in 6 weeks’ time). But it didn’t shake the iman of Muslims in Gaza. Women
wear hijab at night while sleeping because if they are trapped under the rubble, rescue team
can’t see their awrah. SubhanAllah – what a strong Iman. They distribute sweets among the
people because all the members are martyred. They give prostration of gratitude (Sijdah e
Shukur) when they come to know that their family members are martyred. How can Kuffar
destroy them? Rather it increased their level of Iman just like it increased Iman of the people
of ditch who were thrown just because they believe in Allah.

O Brothers in Islam, lets look at a very profound Hadith of Mohammad Rasulullah SAW:

Abu Umamah Al Bahili (RA:) reported that Prophet Mohammad SAW said, “A group of my
ummah will remain on truth, they will vanquish their enemy and those who disagree with
them will not be able to harm them until Allah SWT command”. “Where are these people”?
the companion asked. that Prophet Mohammad SAW replied, “In Bayt al Maqdis”
Narrated in At Tabarani.
So from the hadith, we understand that the enemy of ISLAM will try to harm the Muslims in
Bayt al Maqdis and surrounding area. And we are watching the Genocide in Gaza for last 2
months and it may continue 2 more months in front of the whole world. 222 thousand
housing units are bombed, 280 educational facility, 270 healthcare facility, 70 places of
worship, 45 ambulances, 11 bakeries destroyed.

But we must believe they are in Haqq (as per the hadith and surah Buruj). And they are
successful because the success doesn’t necessarily mean winning the battle materialistically.
Hence it is still important to fight back and defeat the Kuffar force, it is Fard upon Muslims to
prepare for the battles and retaliate any attack.
 May Allah accept the shaheed the highest place in Jannah.
 May Allah hasten the freedom of Palestine, and also freedom of the whole muslim
ummah from the corrupted rulers and establish the Khilafah, establish Allahs Deen.

2nd Khutbah

O Brothers in Islam, we have witnessed, in Gazza:

 The whole world has failed to save innocent man, woman, and children.
 UN failed and it’s bound to fail. Because this is a fun-club for the powerful countries.
 Arab League and OIC failed, and they are designed to fail. These nation-based states
can’t think and act beyond the boundary. That’s why some of the Muslim countries are
super rich and other major Muslim countries are super poor.
 USA, European Union failed, instead they assist to attack in Gaza. These countries
dropped 326,000 bombs and missiles in last 23 years in Muslim lands, which is 46
bombs per day, they murdered 11 M Muslims in last 23 years under the pretext of war
on terror. Capitalism failed miserably. There is no hope in capitalism.
 China, Russia – these Communist countries failed to save humanity as well.
o Joseph Stalin killed 9 M people by mass murder, forced labour, famine etc.
o Mao Zedong killed from 40 to 80 M due to starvation, persecution, prison labour,
and mass executions.
So what is the solution? The whole world needs an alternative. People across the globe are
looking for a correct ideology. And that is none other than the Islamic Ideology. That is the
system of Islam. The Deen of allah. The only correct way of life. As Allah SWT says,

And say, 'Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Falsehood is surely bound to vanish."
Surah Bani Israel Ayah 81

Allah SWT says,

And We have revealed to you the Book, an explanation of everything, and guidance, and
mercy, and glad tidings for the Muslims. Surah Nahl: Ayah 89

Brothers, this is the high time, to raise awareness among the people about ISLAM, to invite
them to ISLAM. We don’t have luxuriousness to have rest and relax. We need to step up and
propagate the beauty of ISLAM and how islam gives solution to the problem of economics,
sociology, and politics. Every single of us has responsibility and we need to fulfill it.
May Allah allow us to educate ourselves how ISLAM is the solution to current world order.
May Allah help us to learn how ISLAM eradicates the gap between rich and poor, how Islam
bring justice into society, how Islam remove the corruption and establish civilization. Amin.
