Flash Flood in Taman Mawar

You'd never guess what happened to me last week! There was a power cut in my neighbourhood. It

Mum was cooking when it happened and she accidentally cut her finger. Luckily, it was just a
small cut. Dad wasn’t happy because he couldnt watch the football match on TV.

It was a sunny weekend afternoon. Saiful was playing badminton with his neighbour in the park. All of a
sudden, the sky became dark and strong winds began to blow. It seemed that a storm was coming soon, so the

It was already raining heavily by the time Saiful reached home. He was wet from head
to toe. Saiful's mother told him to shower immediately so that he would not fall sick. He took
a shower and sat down in the living room to watch television. Suddenly, there was a loud huge
‘Boom!" Everything fell into darkness. Saiful felt something warm and furry jump onto his lap. He yelled in
shock and stood up. The thing disappeared. What was that? Then, there was a ray of light. Saiful's father
came into the living room with a torchlight, and told him to sit still while he got the lights back on.
‘But Dad, there's a ghost in here! It jumped on me just now!” he exclaimed. There was a
click sound and there were lights again. Mother came in at that moment, holding a black cat in
