INTRODUCTION.

In the training of science teachers in modern higher education institutions,

special attention is paid to the development of ecological culture, as in all fields.
Today, it is wrong to think that only ecological sciences are responsible for making
students and young people ecologically cultured. Perhaps, in the process of
education of all subjects, it is necessary to give knowledge about ecology, to
develop environmental culture of students.

LITERATURE ANALYSIS.

Many scientific studies have been conducted on the subject of keeping the
environment clean and preventing environmental pollution, including The
Inclusion of Environmental Education in Science Teacher Education, written by
foreign scientists Alec M. Bodzin, Beth Scheiner Klein, Starlin Weaver, Melody
Graulix and "The Search for a Common Language Environmental Writing and
Education" written by Paul Crumbley, "Environmental Ethics, Sustainability and
Education" written by Estelle L. Weber, as well as from the scientists of our
republic E.O.Turdikulov, S.Mamashokirov, A.N.Nigmatov's scientific research, S.T.
Azimova's article on the important features of the formation of environmental
culture in students focused on this very issue.

ANALYSIS AND RESULTS.

As we think about the development of ecological culture, it is appropriate to

think about the importance of this topic to the development of our New
Uzbekistan, which expresses our noble and great goals. After all, New Uzbekistan
cannot be built without people with ecological culture. As President
Sh.M.Mirziyoyev emphasized: We are focusing all our strength and potential on
building New Uzbekistan: I would like to say to our young generation, to my
strong daughters: my dear children, whose veins are filled with the enthusiasm of
our great grandfathers, you are always at the forefront of building New
Uzbekistan. I believe in you."

Today, it is necessary to quickly adapt the innovations in the field of science and
technology to the content of educational programs, and thereby prepare the
ground for the formation of modern knowledge. The creative use of scientific and
technical achievements as a result of progress in the teaching of English,
especially in the development of environmental culture of higher education
students, remains momentous. Also, today's students are informed about the
latest information through social networks, and even about the teaching
professors. This situation puts the responsibility on the trainer to regularly
monitor the daily news through the Internet. Because the teacher's ignorance of
the latest news of the era can cause the student's interest in his subject to
decrease.

It is necessary to pay attention to the environmentalization of the knowledge

given in the English language when raising the ecological culture of students. The
professor must pay serious attention to the design of the lesson in advance when
delivering materials related to ecology to students in English. For this, it is
necessary for the teacher to have sufficient knowledge about today's
environmental problems, their causes and ways of elimination.

Various social relations in which students of higher education directly participate lead to the
development and enrichment of their worldview and spirituality. It is appropriate to use problem-based
learning technologies in exposure and practical training so that the knowledge and skills formed in
students on the basis of social relations serve the development of their environmental culture.

In order to achieve good results, assigning the solution of problematic issues in lectures and seminars,
creating discussions among students divided into small groups will give effective results.
Outside of classes, taking students to places with historical monuments and holy places, introducing
them to folklore museums, interesting monuments, organizing sabbaliks, ecological roundtables,
seminars-trainings, and competitions will speed up the process of developing ecological culture.

Any reality and events that take part in the development of the state and society have their objective
and subjective aspects. The development of environmental culture of students in higher education in
the teaching of English is not an exception. Both factors allow to better understand the essence of the
problem being organized.

The objective factors of the issue are that the resources serving the development of ecological culture
are included in the sample program of the science, the working curriculum, as well as the textbooks and
manuals that are the basis for the minimization of the science, that everyone has the opportunity to use
electronic tools, that the auditoriums are provided with the means of providing electronic resources,
that the training sites have all the necessary including aspects such as the placement of information and
assignments.

Subjective factors are the awareness of the professors and teachers who are teaching English about
environmental problems, the ability to understand the ways to eliminate environmental problems, the
ability to integrate their knowledge of environmental protection into the content of the topics being
taught, the ability to involve students in this process and increase their activity.

With the rise of the Internet system, social networks are spreading widely among our citizens, especially
among our students. We do not hesitate to convey information related to the development of
ecological culture to students through networks such as Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Wathsapp,
Zoom. And in many cases, we accept the Internet as a means of disrupting the education of young
people. We pay little attention to using the possibilities of social networks for ourselves. But life has
proven that the future is connected with digital technologies. This requires us to abandon the old shells
and start working in a new way, adapting to the times using the interests of students.

If the students are proud of their country and history, if they understand that their fathers considered
and preserved this element as sacred, the feeling of patriotism will increase in their hearts, along with
the sense of responsibility to keep the environment clean. They mature as a people who care for the
future of the country, the development of the country, and the well-being of the people.

There are opportunities to hold conferences, seminar-trainings, and online meetings on the subject of
the English language, and it is necessary to give importance to environmental problems while
maintaining this practice in the educational process. Such events include conferences, seminars for
students on topics such as the drying up of the Aral Sea, water shortages, increasing the level of aging
and salinization of land, inefficiencies in the preservation of historical and cultural monuments, mistakes
and shortcomings in the reduction of new lands, the development of the health care system, general
aspects of industrialization, roundtable discussions, meetings with advanced scientists and specialists
expand the perception of ecology. Also, there is no doubt that it has a significant impact on the
students' perceptions of environmental hazards.
CONCLUSION.

In conclusion, taking into account the following aspects in the teaching of English will greatly help the
development of environmental culture of higher education students:

1 In the teaching of English, special attention should be paid to the formation of information about
concepts and views related to ecology in the minds of students in the past.

Due to the growing impact of humanity on the natural environment, fighting against the origin of
environmental problems and taking measures to prevent the occurrence of such problems are a major
task for every state. In such conditions, in addition to introducing environmental problems in the
system of sciences taught in education, providing information on how human activities should be
established to prevent them will somewhat ease the tasks of the state. From this point of view, it is
appropriate to provide knowledge about the relationship of the population with the natural
environment in accordance with the topic being studied in the teaching of English.

2 To increase the quality and effectiveness of their exposure and practical training by improving the
theoretical knowledge of English language teachers about ecology.

Teaching English is not limited to giving theoretical information about English language. Professors-
teachers are responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of education in their pedagogical activities. In
addition to imparting theoretical knowledge, they should also educate students in the spirit of
patriotism, humanitarianism, hard work, and dedication. After all, the growing generation must
carefully preserve the national-cultural heritage, which is manifested in the traditions and values of their
ancestors, and pass it on to their successors. Including, it is necessary to have the necessary knowledge
for the development of ecological culture. Accomplishment of this task depends to a large extent on the
knowledge of the trainers regarding the problem.

3 Paying serious attention to the organization of events on ecology in the higher educational institution,
ensuring the active participation of students in organizational-methodological, moral, ethical and
cultural events aimed at improving environmental culture.

Public events organized during educational processes help to increase the social activity of students. In
higher education, it is desirable to include a large contingent of students in the organization of events
such as an essay competition or a picture competition on environmental protection. In this case, it is
necessary to pay attention to the financial incentives of the participants. Organization of awarding of
winners in front of the student body increases the status of the event.

4 Expanding the use of social networks, mass media and e-learning resources.

The 20th century is a period of advanced information and communication technologies, its tools are
being optimized every year, and the possibilities of digital technologies are increasing more and more.
Instead of blaming today's youth for their apathy and indifference to reality, it is important to take
measures to determine the scope of their interests and the causes of such negative situations. Today's
youth have mastered the use of social media. It is possible to satisfy their interests and spiritual needs
with the help of the Internet. It is for this reason that they are moving away from the limits of
adherence to the moral and ethical standards established in society. In order to prevent this, we think
that it is necessary to consider the possibilities of creating mechanisms for placing information in the
form of files, photos, gifs and videos, designed to increase environmental culture, on sites that are of
interest to young people. Also, these issues should be taken into account in the aesthetic decoration of
educational sites based on Moodle, Hemis programs.
