Report on Holi Celebration

Date :- 11th March 2023

Venue :- Sainath H B B.e.d College Vashi
Introduction :- Holi is the popular and significant Hindu festival of colours, Love and Spring.
It celebrates the external and divine love of God Radha and Shri Krishna. The day also
significance the triumph of good over evil as it commerrates the victory of Vishnu as
Narasimha Narayana over Hiranyakashipu.
Women’s Day and Holi was held in Sainath H B B.e.d college Vashi were the
students participate in massive numbers.

Events took place in following sequence :-

➢ Decoration of the Mandap was done by Komal.
➢ Anchoring was done by Ekta.
➢ Speech was done by Shahu sir & Sandeep Gupta.
➢ The team made a grand entry by sprinkling flower petals and singing holi songs.
The entire team consisted of Rupali, Sandeep Gupta, Shahu sir, Sumaiya, Saba.
Games that took place along the event :-
Then the entire team came up with game in which there were two teams and
the two teams were assigned some tasks. The team which performed the task first would
be given a chance to apply colour on the other team.
Objectives :- Enhancing the knowledge of students related to the concept of Holi function.
Bring all students of different caste and religion together and involve them with the
message of peace and harmony. Teach the values such as “goods news always win over
evil” so it is important to be good in life. Establish participation as the main objective of any
event.
 Conclusion :- In the end everyone was smeared with colours. Then the team gave up all
the audience a Cold Drinks and Sweets. Thus it was really enjoyable event.
Votes of thanks :- In the end our principal Swarnalata Mam gave an wonderful speech
making the whole event a mesmerising experience.
