Detailed LESSON PLAN IN ENGLISH G-3

(Appreciation Method / Lesson)

I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson, 85% of the students should be able to:
a. identify the main lesson of the poem;
b. note the details of the poem;
c. match the picture that tells about a stanza of the poem; and
d. sing the poem.

1. Review Topic: Things Around Us

Let us have a review on naming things we see (Expected similar response of pupils)
around us, either on our way to school (land) in

V. ASSIGNMENT / HOMEWORK
● You will be divided into five groups. Each group will show a drawing tomorrow. Write a five-sentence
story about your drawing. Group A-draw stanza 1, Group B-draw stanza 3, Group C draw stanza 5,
Group D – draw stanza 7 and Group E-draw stanza 9.
NOTE: 1. Appreciation method / lesson is useful in teaching listening comprehension and reading
comprehension both Filipino and English.
