panes of the windows movie maker?

Ans1. The functions of movie panes are as :

• The Task pane lists the common tasks that

maybe needed to perform while making a

movie, including importing files, editing,and
publishing your movie.
• The Collection pane appear in the collections

pane on the left, and the clips in the selected

collection folder are displayed in the contents
pane on the right.
• The Contents pane shows clips,effects,or

transition that are working with while creating

our movie,depending on the view being
worked with.We can change the view to show
thumbnail or details
We can drag clips,transitions,or
effects from the contents pane or a collection
from the collections pane to the storyboard/
timeline for your current project.

Ans 2. .mp2 stands for moving pictures expert

Ans 6. Steps to split a clip:
• In the contents pane or on the
storyboard/timeline, click the video or audio
clip that need to be split
• Under the preview monitor, click the play
 button.
• When the clip reaches a point near the place
you want to split the clip , click pause.
• Under the preview monitor, use the playback
controls to find the point where we want to
split the clip.
• Under the preview monitor, click the split
button.

Ques 7. What do you mean by trimming a clip?

Ans 7. Trimming a clip is to remove unwanted
portion from your clip.

Ques 8. Explain the steps needed to change the

title duration of your video.
Ans 8. Steps to change the duration of video are:
• To make sure that you are in timeline
view,click the view menu , and then click
timeline.
• Select the title whose duration you want to
change.
• To extend the playback duration of the title,
drag the end trim handle toward the end of the
timeline.
• To reduce the playback duration of the title,
 drag the end trim handle toward the beginning
of the timeline.

Ques 9. How can you burn your movie into CD?

Ans 9. You can burn movie into CD as:
• Check the size of your movie files to make
sure it is less than 700 megabytes
• Open the CD burning software and select the
command to make data CD.
• Open the movie file in the software burning
pane and give your disc a name so you can
find it easily when you have completed the
burn process.

compiled?
Ans10. Steps to save movie ,once compiled as:
• Open windows movie maker and click the file
menu.
• Select save movie
• Select recommended for this project.
• Choose a place to save the movie, then click
save.

Ans 11. Title can be removed as:
• on the storyboard/timeline,click the title that
need to be removed.
• Click edit, and then click remove.

Ans 12. Steps to save and publish video generated
are as follows:
• click file menu
• select save movie
• select recommended for this project
• choose a place to save the movie, then click
save.

published movie should not contain.
Ans 13. Sometime it is required, not to publish
movie with additional properties like
title,author,copyright,rating and comments that
automatically added by WMM. This information
can be avoided by choosing option from tool
menu.
