HEAD OFFICE – GAUTENG
Stipend R 10 680.21 pm
R 128,162.55 per annum (Plus Medical Aid Subsidy)
Main purpose: To equip successful candidates with practical skills, knowledge, and work
experience in the Internal Audit Division.
Competencies:
Minimum qualification and experience: B Degree in Law (NQF 7). No experience required.
Deadline and research driven and accurate results orientated. A flair for creative visualization,
eager to learn more, and works well under pressure. Good Interpersonal skills, well-organized
individual, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical thinking, methodical, digital and computer
literacy, attention to detail, accuracy, focused, committed, dedicated, hardworking, good time
management skills, good verbal and written communication skills, team player, self-motivated,
creative and innovative. Must have ethics and integrity.
Computer literacy: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Vision & PowerPoint). Google.
PLEASE NOTE:
1. The SIU internship programme is targeted for the youth ages 18 – 35.
2. Candidates must not be currently participating in another internship programme or have previously
participated in an internship programme.
3. Candidates must be unemployed.
4. Candidates must be South African citizens.

6. The appointment of candidates will be at the Unit’s sole discretion and the Unit reserves the right not to
make an appointment.
7. All shortlisted applicants will be required to complete the SIU application form.
8. The SIU is an Anti-Corruption Investigating Unit and requires applicants to make a full and frank
disclosure in their application form.
9. Correspondence will be limited to shortlisted candidates only. Please be advised that applications

three (3) months of the closing date should consider their applications unsuccessful.
10. Fraudulent qualifications or documentation will automatically disqualify candidates.

14. The salary/stipend offered will be in line with SIU approved salary scales, which may change subject to
relevant approvals and annual increases.
