Name of the product; REIMAGINED ARTFUL CLASSICS COUCH

We came out to this idea because of “Leave no garbage, but your footprints and
memories.” This chair was made from wooden pallets with a length of 170 cm and width
of 42cm. It is also covered with a do it yourself foam that we produced ourselves. This
foam is made of a plastic cover that I sewed and we extracted the fibers from rice sacks
to use as filling. We used an exactly 36 pcs of rice sacks to fill this up.

After we put and filled the plastic cover with sack fibers we also had the idea to
put the CHMT letter on the seat. each letter is made of crumpled plastic glued to a
cardboard cutout.

We believed that it would be a good project for sustainable tourism. Since we

saw and observed that a recycling couch could be useful and helped outside of the
CHMT faculty because of this couch it provides visitors a comfortable seat while they
wait outside.
