Scene 1

(Chuchok find suitable place for his begging)

Chuchok : Everyone , please have a mercy on me.

and couldn't return the 100 Kahapanas because it was
too much for them to gather at that time.

( Chuchok knock the door )

Brahmin husband : Who’s knocking the door at this time?

( the Brahmin’s wife open the door )

Brahmin’s wife : Oh! Chuchok, what brings you here?

Chuchok : Are you still keeping the money that I deposited?

(Young Brahmin met Amittada , she has good manners

and taking care of Chuchok like a teacher. He praises her for
his wife to listen.)

working and follow him everywhere. You should consider
yourself. Mind your own business. Don’t meddle in other
people’s affairs to point of for getting your own
responsibilities.

When Chuchok arrived at the hermitage, he saw

Amittada crying so he asked her what had happened to
make her cry. In the end, he found out the reason.

Amittada: boohoo….

(Amittada is crying)

Chuchok: oh…my honey. What have you faced? Why are you

wishes good luck to Amittada.

Chuchok: I’m got to go, take care of yourself (Chuchok

While Chuchok walking away, he crying and glanced

at Amittada.

Characters : Chuchok, Hunter , Jetabut , Jetabut’s dog

While Chuchok is walking to meet Prince Vessantara

at Mount Vamka , Chuchok is crying

Hunter : Who are you? What do you want from here?

 Terrified , Chuchok is relentlessly chased by the
hunter’s menacing dog , forcing him to desperately
scramble up the tree for safety.

Hunter : “Why are you alone in this forest? If you plan to

harm Phra Vessantara , just know you life is on borrowed
time. You seem like a shadow figure in the woods , and you
won’t get to say goodbye to your loved , i’ll cut ties with
you.”

Hunter : Come down from the tree immediatetly , or your

life will be in danger!

Chuchok is threatened with death by the hunter ,

leaving him in a state of intense anxiety.

Jujaka : Calm down , please. My friend , I am an ambassador

the Sipi Kingdom. I’ve come to deliver crucial message. Phra
Vessantara is needed back home to rule over the kingdom.

(Chuchok sends a message to the hunter.)

It’s wonderful news for the hunter , he believes and

happy that Chuchok is an ambassador. He takes care and
looks after Chuchok , also sharing the direction to meet
Prince Vessantara.

Hunter : I want to sincerely apologize for my very impolite

behavior. I regret my action and hope you can find it in
yourself to forgive me.
