The differences in ecosystems within a given region and their overall effects on human life and the environment

are referred to as ecosystem diversity.

The combined qualities of biotic (biodiversity) and abiotic (geodiversity) properties are addressed by ecosystem
diversity. It is a variance in the ecosystems that exist on a given area of the earth or throughout the entire planet.
The diversity found in both terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems is referred to as ecological diversity. Variations in
a biological community's complexity, such as the quantity of distinct niches and other ecological processes, can
also be considered in terms of ecological diversity. Global ecological diversity can be exemplified by the
diversity of ecosystems, including wetlands, grasslands, deserts, forests, and oceans. Diversity in ecology is the
biggest scale.
