Speaking part 2
Describe a game you played in your
childhood

Introduction
I'm going to talk about a game that I used to
play a lot in my childhood. That's definitely
playing chess.
1st idea
I used to play it on a regular basis, especially
with my brother and with my grandfather.
They were into playing as much as I was, and I
can say we were crazy about playing chess
because sometimes we used to play until mid-
night. It may sound really crazy, it may sound
unbelievable, but that was the reality, that was
the case. We were hyper competitive, we
tried to beat each other in many creative
ways, because it used to give us a sense of
satisfaction and fulfilment. I believe because
of my competitiveness and obsession with
playing chess, I ended up being a chess
champion three times in my region. I made a
name for myself as a chess champion in my
region and everyone knew it, and it was
wonderful.
2nd idea
Now I'm going to tell you something but I may
sound boastful. I firmly believe that playing
chess has improved my mental stamina and
logical reasoning to some extent because
chess is like a life. In real time, in life you might
be in depression, you might be in trouble. At
that moment you have to accept the situation
and try to figure out the problem, right and
it's exactly the same in playing chess. This is
why I firmly believe that it's improved my
logical thinking and mental stamina to some
extent.
Conclusion
Now I still play chess but not as frequently as
before and this is mainly because of my heavy
workload, and because of my hectic lifestyle.
But I'd say I love chess, it really gives me a
sense of satisfaction and pressure. In a
nutshell I'd say that's the game that I used to
play a lot in my childhood.
