THE PREPRATIONS’…

For the Eumind onset project 2023-2024, many things had to be done. Our
main topic was “The Local Dance from the Reunion Island”.
Maloya is a traditional dance form originating from Reunion Island and it is
a vibrant, beautiful traditional dance. It is powerful expression of rich
cultural heritage.
Under the guidance of in charge teachers, everybody carried out their
given roles enthusiastically.
Our journey began with many meetings and discussions, where we
explored the history of Maloya.
We carefully selected the music, dance moves, narrative as well as the
traditional attire with vibrant colours for our performance & finally our
script was ready.
We shot our skit in school premises Under the guidance of our teachers.
This was a great learning experience for us.
