Hello, I'm Oliver, a high school student. I'm pleased to share information with

A. SUBTITLE: ___________________________________________________________
My city is considered heroic due to the historical acts of the Albújar brothers and
Manuel Guarniz. (2)________________ along a street (now called Jr. Junín) in
front of a shoemaking workshop owned by the Albújar family. Someone fired a
shot at the sergeant, and it hit his helmet but didn't hurt him.This led to the
accusation of three people, the Albújar Chumioque brothers, Fernando and Justo,
and their friend Manuel Guarniz, as the ones who fired the shot.
(3)________________ for their patriotic cause instead of living as traitors. They
were executed on October 28, 1881, near the old Guadalupe cemetery entrance.

In my city, (4)________________. The celebrations for Our Virgin of Guadalupe
start on November 26 and go until December 10 every year. The significant
days are on December 5 when a replica of the image called "La Perfecta" is
taken to its sanctuary on the "Cerrito de la Virgen." The religious activities
conclude on December 8 to honor the town's patron saint. The festival
continues until December 10 with music concerts, traditional dances,
fireworks, horse parades, and sports activities organized by the community's
leaders. This celebration brings together (5)________________ showcasing the
lively spirit of Guadalupe.

This is the story of our Virgin of Guadalupe: In the early years of Trujillo, around 1560, Captain Francisco
Pérez de Lezcano, an affluent and respected encomendero, (6)________________ that led to an unjust death
sentence. Despite thorough investigations, the true culprit, a malicious clergyman, was revealed on the day
of Pérez de Lezcano's scheduled execution, leading to his release. Desperate and devoted to the Virgin of
Guadalupe, the patroness of Extremadura, Spain, Pérez de Lezcano had vowed to bring a replica of her image
from Spain if his life were spared. After being exonerated, (7)________________, traveling to Spain, carving a
replica, and bringing it to Trujillo in 1562. He erected a chapel in Pacasmayo under the Augustinian Fathers'
custody. Following a 1619 earthquake, the sanctuary relocated to Guadalupe, giving rise to the town, and a
remarkable Gothic-style temple was completed in 1643. (8)________________ for performing miracles across
America and Europe. Viceroy Toledo experienced a miraculous sea calmness off Cabo Blanco. During the
republican period, the sanctuary transitioned to the secular clergy but underwent restoration in 1940 by
Father Santiago Wenceslao Aguilar, culminating in the canonical coronation in 1954.
