Welcome to Saarbrücken and the htw saar

The htw saar currently offers more than 40 full-time degree programs, all accre-
dited by national or international accreditation agencies, at four schools - the
Business School, the School of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the School of
Engineering and the School of Social Sciences. Currently, approximately 6,000
students are enrolled at the htw saar, including more than 700 international
students from over 60 countries. The engineering faculty is the largest faculty at
the htw saar.

International Project Semester (IPS) Start Program
Do you want to work and study in the heart of Europe? October 4, 2022

Join the IPS and start a semester at htw saar, work on a company project in the industrial sector, Preparatory
− Intercultural communication
attend project management & engineering courses! Phase − German intensive course

The IPS is a program for international and local bachelor students in engineering sciences, 3 weeks
which is organized by the School of Engineering in cooperation with companies located in
Germany. Project − Project work in the industrial sector 4 days a week
Phase − One elective from the School of Engineering 1 day a week
During the IPS, you will:
− have a unique opportunity to take part in an actual engineering project in the industrial sector, 13 weeks
− work in multicultural, interdisciplinary teams,
− Exams, presentation & submission of papers
− enhance your knowledge in project management,
Final − Final presenation & submission of the final report
− have a chance to get to know Saarbrücken, Germany and its neighbour cities and countries. − Conclusion of the project work
Phase

2 weeks
Entry requirements:
− You should have at least 120 ECTS in an engineering study program End Total: 30 ETCS credits
− English proficiency required at least B2-level (No German skills required) February 10, 2023
