pallidum. It can be transmitted from mother to baby
during pregnancy or childbirth. Syphilis can be
diagnosed through blood test.
*Gonorrhea – is a common sexually transmitted disease
caused by bacterium Neisseria gonorrhea. Symptoms of
gonorrhea may vary but often include genital discharge,
pain or burning during urination, and genital or rectal
itching. In some cases, it can cause sore throat and
lymph nodes.

*Chlamydia – It is primarily transmitted through sexual


contact. It is one of the most frequently reported
bacterial STIs globally. Many people with chlamydia
don’t experience symptoms, so it often goes
undiagnosed. When symptoms occur, they can include
genital pain, abnormal discharge, pain during urination
and lower abdominal pain.

Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a fatal


communicable disease with no effective treatment or
known cure. It is the final stage of infection caused by
the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV).

Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a virus that


attacks the immune system. It is primarily transmitted
through contact with certain body fluids, including
blood, semen, vaginal fluids, rectal fluids, breast milk,
and pre-seminal fluids.
