How to connect to your Library account

and how to request for prolonging or reservation

1) Connect to the catalogue https://kopkatalogs.lv/F/?func=option-update-
lng&file_name=find-m&local_base=rjakd&p_con_lng=eng

2) Use tab Sign-in and enter the following:

• User ID/Barcode
- your LV personal code without dash
example: 01010122222
- for foreigners - your birth date in the format ddmmyy00000
example: 21048800000
• Verification/Password – your student number example: B020090 or M020015
• Log on

3) Under My Library Card you can see the books you have borrowed and by clicking on
the underlined number you can ask to prolong - Renew.
If nobody has reserved your book you can prolong it 3 times (unless the book is available
only for the short-term loan).

4) If the book is on the shelf, you can reserve it by making a hold request and pick it up at
the library.

5) If the book which you have found is already borrowed, you can make a hold request.
The book will be available after the due date and you will be informed about it by e-mail.
