Acknowledgement

Writing of this report has been one the most significant academic challenges that I have

ever had to face. This report would not have been possible without the guidance and the help of

several individuals who in one way or another contributed and extended their valuable assistance

in the preparation and completion of this report.

First, I offer my sincerest gratitude to my supervisors in Himalayan Bank, Mrs. Samikshya

Bhattarai whose encouragement; supervision and support from the starting to the concluding level

during the entire internship period enabled me to develop a deeper understanding of the subject

and nature of the banking industry. One simply could not wish for better or friendlier supervisors.
