BACKGROUND
Failure to read and understand road signs and warnings is the major cause of road
carnage in Zimbabwe roads. Learners at Destiny Primary School are going to
identify some road signs and deduce their meanings.
CALA DESCRIPTION
PART A: RESEARCH (5 marks)
Identifying road signs categories or groups.

PART B: DRAWINGS AND EXPLANATIONS (15 marks)

- Drawing pasting pictures of road signs from the identified categories. (One
sign per category).
- Deducing meaning of the mentioned road signs.

How will you be assessed.

 The CALA will be assessed out of 20.
 Marks will be awarded as to how clear the explanations are.
 Achievements standards specific to the CALA will be provided to make you
aware of the marks for each stage.
